Still too slow when the steps rely on data. It is pretty easy to just start classifying deaths as COVID. I had a 95 year old great aunt in very poor health in a nursing home in OH with COPD and a host of other health issues. They say she had COVID and is now an OH COVID death case. Not too hard to manipulate data and show sudden spikes or never ending increases. Just let the people free to decide for themselves.

Don’t forget, the original, stated intent of the shut down was NOT to save lives, but to “flatten the curve”, i.e. slow down the infection rate so as not to overwhelm the hospitals. We have accomplished that objective, so get back to work, already!
Some countries in eastern Europe, such as Czechoslovakia, are beginning to follow Trump’s lead in a phased reopening. It appears their media is more supportive of their conservative government.
