A very large crowd of vehicles clogged the streets around the Richmond Capitol, honking horns and festooned with signs and flags, American, Don’t Tread on Me Tea Party, USMC, crosses.
It moved slowly, but thanks to Richmond police trying to restrict access to Capitol square, not much at all. I think I went two blocks in an hour.
Since I was driving, I lacked the mobility to do good photo documentation. I really wanted to ditch my vehicle but I couldn’t. Sorry that I can’t provide more.

We had a protest in Maine on Monday, Patriots Day.
The media all positioned their cameras so they showed only one corner or went to the end where the number of people tapered off. They completely ignored the vehicles.
There were about 400 protesters with signs and about 500 vehicles. It took me over an hour to travel a mile.
