Employees hired to do warehouse and delivery work have been given raises, signing bonuses, and other enticements to come to work at Walmart, Amazon, and a variety of grocery delivery services.

May Day is the well-known day when masked, black-clad communistas string up The Man on a May Pole, while chanting “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, the Bourgeoisie Have Got to Go!” The event culminates in workers setting fire to the pole and The Man, thus destroying their own jobs.
The Intercept reports that there will be thousands of “workers” at Amazon, Instacart, Whole Foods, Target, and Fed-Ex walking off the job starting at their lunch breaks (inner voice asks, “what’s a lunch break?”) or call-in “sick” to strike a blow against The Man, maaaan. more here

I distinctly remember Obuttma telling we would have to pay more for groceries because of the high cost of fuel (Not the case now). So it was actually a sell out to the Unions. Unions and the Democrats need to go. I do not have a problem with $15/hr, the problem is to many people aren’t worth $5/hr.
To have better wages, there needs to be a surplus of jobs, not a surplus of workers. Especially illegal workers, who have no way to complain with out fear of deportation.
I’ve been self employed most of my life, with the understanding that my wages are a result of, getting my ass out of bed and doing the WORK.
Which is lost today. The idea that just being born entitles them to money, health care, education, and $1M year job.

I came back to say I hate instacart. If the lil girl who shopped/ delivered for my neighbor is any example of who is striking, I say cut them all loose. 25% of the order was wrong and things missing. And they were texting each other while she shopped, so how did she fuck it up so badly???
