Detroit News: Washington – Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who alleges Joe Biden sexually assaulted her 27 years ago, says she filed a limited report with a congressional personnel office that did not explicitly accuse him of sexual assault or harassment.
“I remember talking about him wanting me to serve drinks because he liked my legs and thought I was pretty and it made me uncomfortable,” Reade said in an interview Friday with The Associated Press. “I know that I was too scared to write about the sexual assault.”
Reade said she described her issues with Biden but “the main word I used – and I know I didn’t use sexual harassment – I used ‘uncomfortable.’ And I remember ‘retaliation.’” more
That’s unfortunate, but it’s understandable that a young staffer would be very intimidated by a U.S. senator.

For the last four decades I have been defending employers in sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and all other employee claims. In 1994, the term ‘sexual harassment’ was not very well known, now like it is now. Back then employees were, rightly, concerned about their future if they complained. Making a complaint in general terms and hoping it will be looked into was common.
The fact she did not use specific words in the complaint is a red herring.

Last year Reade’s story was that Biden “touched her shoulder inappropriately.” Now, she magically changes it to sexual assault by finger penetration. Yeah, RIGHT. She has expressed admiration for Putin. She has ZERO records for her claim that she complained to her higher-ups. Joe has called for a full and open investigation into any records, IF they exist. I.
