‘No mercy for traitors’: George Papadopoulos takes a victory lap and names names

BPR: With Thursday’s release of transcripts from the House Intelligence Committee’s so-called Russian collusion investigation, there’s growing speculation about the house of cards built by Trump-hating co-conspirators beginning to collapse.

One of the early targets of the campaign to take out a duly elected president, former Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos, was quick to take a victory lap.

Included in the transcripts are top law enforcement and intelligence officials in the Obama administration affirming that they had no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

Add to the mix the Department of Justice dropping its case against former national security Mike Flynn, saying it didn’t believe prosecutors could prove the case against the former three-star general, this coming after a release of documents showing the FBI set him up in a Jan. 2017 interview.

Before the fireworks began, and amid reports that more damning information will soon be released, Papadopoulos said in an early morning tweet: “I’ve been right along because I lived this story. I know how it began and how it will end. Hint: America wins!”

“Enjoy the show coming,” he added in another tweet. more
