SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A San Diego law firm has filed a federal lawsuit against Dr. Wilma Wooten over her face covering mandate.
Areta Law A.P.C. filed the lawsuit against San Diego County Public Health Officer Dr. Wilma Wooten, Nick Macchione, and Helen Robbins-Meyer, alleging that the requirement to wear a facial covering when in public violates both U.S and California Constitutional rights.
Areta Law tells KUSI “the lawsuit details through numerous studies how the wearing of either surgical or cloth facial coverings do not help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or protect someone from getting infected by it. Further, the lawsuit alleges little to no asymptomatic transmission.” read more

FINALLY.
Tack onto it also social distancing. How does only 2 in a boat, handling only your own tennis balls, walking on only wet sand, avoiding church but not wal-mart, and 6′ is safe but not 5’11”, among others, keep us safe? Stop degrading US citizens calling us non-essential, while simultaneously calling someone illegal as racist hate speech should also fit in there.
Just some suggestions.
Why wait for a lawsuit, just don’t wear face diapers, if enough people ignore the mandate it will be forgotten quickly.
Only when I go to the MD do I wear mask. I live in a conservative – not GOP! – town. We are all out and about no mask!
