Trayvon Martin’s Mom: ‘We Need More Police,’ Not Defund Movement

Breitbart: Trayvon Martin’s mother said recently that she does not support efforts to reduce law enforcement resources amid calls to defund the police.

“I think we need more police,” Sybrina Fulton explained, adding, “We need police with better standards, and police with better ethics and better work habits,” according to the Daily Caller.

“I want residents to feel safe. I want to bridge the gap between the law enforcement and the community,” she continued.

In May 2019, Fulton announced she was running for a seat on Florida’s Miami-Dade County Commission with gun control as her top priority, according to Breitbart News. more here

SNIP: See, I was with her until she brought up ‘gun control as her top priority’. If her idea of top priority is the same top priority she had for Trayvon, then gun owners have nothing to worry about.

  1. No. It should be we need less thugs like your son who almost killed Zimmerman when he was headed back to the car and got sucker punched then pounded his head into the concrete while on top of him. And that you messed up as the mom. All of the above is true.

  2. What qualifies her for elected office? That’s the main problem right there.

Between tee shirt sales and gofraudme, and the largess of the BLM donation crowd, Ms. Fulton is now in the 1%, isn’t she?

The Democrats are taking M-D County commission seats with the help of their party structure, but the Republicans don’t seem to be lifting a finger to help these local elections.

If you’re in that county, it would help a lot to get involved.

Miami Dade is run by the Cuban community, with a sprinkle of blacks in surrounding ‘burbs. Sabrina assumes she has enough “star power” (name recognition); she’ll try to angle a seat on County Commission, with higher State/Fed aspirations.

There are no longer “American” challenges represented in M-D, and Broward inching into Palm Beach Co to a lesser degree.
