Just The News: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has continuously served in the nation’s legislature for more than 30 years since first winning a special election in 1987, but if her 2020 general election challenger Shahid Buttar has his druthers, the long-serving Democratic congresswoman will not remain in office much longer.
Buttar is running as a Democrat in his bid to unseat Pelosi, though a signup form prominently placed on the homepage of his website describes him as a Democratic Socialist.
During an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast the candidate said that he is running to Pelosi’s left on some issues, and her right on others.
“I’m frankly running on all sides of Nancy Pelosi. She’s such a partisan without principal that it’s actually possible to run to her left and right at the same time,” Buttar said. more
So …….. does he represent the people in his district than Pelosi does?
FWIW, I really don’t care for either one of them but I don’t live there so it makes no difference that I don’t care for them.
Shouldn’t all these elected, terminal old farts start dying off soon? That is the only way to get rid of her and her cronies.

I thought for a moment that if he ran in the general he could split the vote and a Republican could slip up the middle but that won’t happen. In the last election she got more than 86% of the vote while the GOP challenger got 9%. The only way she’d lose is if a scandal of immense proportions engulfed her or the BLM/Antifa burnt San Francisco and did the same to Silicon Valley.
