PJ Media: According to a recent poll, two-thirds of voters trust Dr. Anthony Fauci, not President Trump, when it comes to information on the coronavirus.
Well, if you think you can trust Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, you now have every reason to question his judgment. In an interview with PBS NewsHour, Dr. Fauci, the trusted expert, actually lauded New York’s response to the coronavirus.
“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” he told PBS’s Judy Woodruff. “New York got hit worse than any place in the world. And they did it correctly.”
I used to have faith in Dr. Fauci’s judgement, but that faith has waned over the past few months, and is now completely gone. How exactly does anyone look at what happened in New York and say that’s a model example for fighting the coronavirus?
Bill Gates has paid him millions of dollars already. That’s a known fact. So why would you trust him? He’s involved.
I wish I could honestly say that I don’t wish Fauci ill, but I can’t. He’s done immeasurable harm and is in a position to keep up the bad work. I want him to go away, and don’t care even a little bit how/why that should occur. Being run over by an ambulance would be fine with me.

Up here in Canada I was very disappointed that not one of the four candidates running for the leadership of the Conservative Party would commit to forming a independent Royal Commission to investigate/review how Canada (at all levels of government) reacted to this incident. It should have taken no prisoners, named names, shown actions, connections and shown all the mistakes, errors and downright stupidity that has destroyed our economy for years to come. Anyway miracles do happen and with one very good candidate, two pretty good ones and one rino (that’s who I’m afraid will win) perhaps after Trudeau and the most corrupt government in Canadian history is gone we might still get that Commission and to the truth.

How many people do each of us know (directly) who have tested positive for Coronavirus? How many people do each of us know (personally) who have died as a direct result of it?
When I ask this question of folks in my neck of the woods, no one knows a single person who either has it or has died of it. The answer is always that they “heard” of someone who had/has it from someone else they talked to.
…if the contagion rate of Coronavirus is so stunningly high, why aren’t we hearing about our friends, family and neighbors being sick with it? When it’s ‘flu season I know of at least three or four people who are “down with the ‘flu.” And there are certainly many, many people who have ignored or been very lax with social distancing or who don’t wear a mask or wear something that doesn’t really protect them from anything. I certainly see a lot of people at the stores who handle the same shopping carts and merchandise without gloves on and who apparently forget not to touch their faces or use sanitizer. So, why aren’t the numbers of people we personally know not huge, given how virulent this disease is reported to be?
@AbigailAdams – I will answer your poll: 2 and none. In fact, both that did test positive were shocked because they were completely asymptomatic. You might then ask why did they get tested? Because they came in contact with someone else who was positive. Sheep.

I keep hearing these “friend of a friend” stories but none I directly know.
People I know who allegedly were in contact with ChineseVirus victims never developed symptoms or disease.
Abigail- I only know of someone who knows or are related to someone else.
Examples:
1. An elderly lady I work for here and there, her cleaning lady’s mom and grandma (we’re talking 70s and 90s) were killed in the NY nursing home fiasco. The mother (who is a nurse) visited grandma who was sick and they both ended up dying. Horrible. But that’s if the story is right. It could have been just the grandmother.
2. A facebook friend (known her since before the 0bama era, and she’s not a drama queen or a fibber) had a friend from high school who died who was already very ill with other chronic conditions. Late 40’s.
3. Where I live, there’s rumors of a group of friends who got it but did not die. All in their late 70s but very active and social. But again, rumors.
So, I don’t know anyone who directly has it and I never got it.
But I know of a couple of people (again, friends online) who were curious and went and had the testing done and came back negative. And then one of them freaked out worried they’d be on some ‘list’. lol.

Yup, it’s BS alright. I guess my point in asking is that you’d think a whole lot of people would be going, “Hey, if this thing is such a big deal why don’t I know at least one other person who is sick with this?” C’mon, man! When the ‘flu is making the rounds, or even a cold, it seems like everyone has someone in their own household who is sick with it.

I have no friends or family that have tested positive, one of my brother’s in laws tested positive but proved asymptomatic. Total scamdemic.
Well, I only knew 4 people who had it and they are all fine now!!! Even one who is a very sick person with many under lying conditions is fine. It’s all about fear and control. We all know people have died because of it and we know it is a real disease but enough already. Have you noticed heart attacks and cancer deaths are down a lot this year from last. Fear and control.
