She was right.
But it was the right message, but wrong messenger.

I don’t think this law is right at all. It’s a one size fits all approach that makes a lot of assumptions.
Example. I know a woman who was in her late 50s. Her younger brother, who was in his early 40s, had a son who was in high school. Her younger brother was a drug addict and destitute.
The brother goes to jail so she decides to legally adopt the son. The now adopted son who is 16 years old, somewhat learning disabled, 6′ 2″ and 160 lbs doesn’t want to go to school.
The 5′ 4″, 130 lbs Aunt drives him to school, drops him off, watch him goes inside and then she goes on to work. He skips out at some point shortly after. This happens a few times.
And that is the story of how my Aunt was one of the first people in our city arrested, put on TV and put in jail for her adopted nephew violating our truant policy.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Who do we throw jail for keeping schools closed?
Laws like that are racist.
it’s money for lawyers, new cases for CPS, power for educrats – a real trifecta for (D)irtbags
