Kaiser Wilhem ain’t under fire until he’s given a blindfold and a cigarette!
Don’t look now, de Blasio, but your corruption is showing!
…my son had a retro craving yesterday and got a Blu-Ray of “Robocop” (1987) so we watched it, it started with lawlessness and cop killing, the it was about defunding the police and the riots that ensued when they did so, except for the part where Robocop was actually allowed to kill bad guys, it looked pretty familiar during the build-up…

Anybody with any sense will move and telecommute, leaving New York City the pile of excrement it has become.
Strangely enough, that’s a crowning achievement for the democrats. Now everyone can be equally miserable, except the ruling class, of course.
Yes, eat cake you poor bastards, you brought it on yourself.
Thankfully, the strunce can’t run again. The NY media is already lamenting there’s no clear “progessive” candidate though. Haven’t you had enough of that crap NYC? https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/politics/2020/07/29/nyc-elections-2021-whos-running-no-clear-progressive-has-emerged
Suckers for punishment.
Di blasio is nuts. He is a corrupt communist on a tear to destroy NY, believing it will empower him more. Cuomo is helping.
“The more innocent they are, the more they deserve to die.”
(well-known “leftist” playwright)
izlamo delenda est …
Cuomo is not the problem, he’s a symptom. Problems are the New York MSM and the education racket advancing socialism.
A city is a complicated machine and D’rats are wreckers
who allow crime, destroy business and “can’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again”.
People leaving or not paying rent means a big drop in property values/rents, means landlords can’t pay bank loans or debts means bankruptcy and bank forclosure, means banks owning devalued property worth much less than loans in glutted housing market with little buyer/renter demand, means banks going insolvent, means……….
And that’s just the housing market.
How does anyone think this will all get back to normal in less than a decade, if at all?
If de Blasio were really under fire he’d be more interested in restoring law and order. He and the mayor of Portland, are two fools sharing a pod.
