GOP Rep Introduces Bill to Strip Rioters of Federal Unemployment Benefits

MAGAconservatives: Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) has had enough and will introduce legislation this week to strip convicted rioters of federal unemployment benefits.

“Antifa thugs are descending on suffering communities, disrupting peaceful protests and leaving violence, looting, and vandalism in their wake,” Banks said in a statement.

“They turned Milwaukee, Seattle, and Portland into warzones, and now they’re moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?”

“Due to enhanced federal benefits, taxpayers are giving wages to jobless rioters that are destroying our communities,” Banks said. “We need to cut them off from their funding and make them feel the full financial consequences of their actions.” more

  1. It’s a great idea, but that will never see the light of day in this Congress.

No worries, George Soros would match it if it was to pass. Georgie has gots to keep his riotous peeps happy. 🤬

  2. Hahahahaa, like insurance fraud, getting caught playing tennis while collecting for a broken ankle: catch them on video smashing a window or tossing a molotov, BAM cut off. Book ‘em if you catch them, they get let out next morning, but the checks stop coming, the EBT runs dry. Soros may pay their fines if convicted, but he and his ilk can’t be Uncle Sugar to all the busted orcs. Great incentive for the cops to collar and tag, even if the assholes are never charged by the lefty local DA.

  3. What stops Trump from EOing that? or cutting off UI dollars to the states with the rioting?

You have to be out looking for work. And if you find work (ie: soros riot money) and dont claim it to the state, you have to pay it back, and you’re cut off from UI for X amount of years as penalty.

  4. Everything seems like too little too late or incredibly weak. Listening to POTUS Trump answer a question today at his Texas roundtable on hurricane Laura, though, it sounded as though he was particularly serious about dealing with the national violence by these insurrectionist. He didn’t say anything specific, but you could tell he is resolved to do something. My hope is that is recent move to make Chad Wolf the permanent head of DHS is a precursor to whatever plans he has for them.

  5. EXACTLY, MJA. F—k that shriveled, dusty bag of bitter and her Congressional clown car.

How are those lawsuits against Trump’s last batch of EO’s going? Yeah, that’s what I thought: Nowhere.

  6. I think I am in the process of getting suspended from FB. I had the unmitigated nerve of suggesting that the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) we’re perpetuating racism by not playing to protest the relatively small number of blacks killed by police compared to the number killed by other blacks. A couple of people have come after me and I basically called them racist for having such low expectations of black people.

  7. Wouldn’t they first have to of been laid off from a job outside their parents basement and second the cops actually arrest more than what you can count on one hand to make any difference?

  8. BB — Not sure what you mean with your first question, but on the second one: No, they won’t be voting for Trump this Nov. They’ll sit it out before they’ll vote for him. That’s how white progressive, virtue-signalling, SJW-sympathetic, highly-educated idiots, CNN-watching numbskulls, roll.

And that’s just fine with me.

Seriously, I’ve heard a lot of hard-core, in denial Democrats say they won’t vote. They can’t stand their own party and its nominees, but they won’t vote their way out of it, either. How can they know anything good about Trump if all they know is CNN, NPR and the NYTimes? According to those sources, the violence is all Trump’s fault. Just listen to the mayors of Seattle and Portland.

  9. Mr. Illustr8r’s feelings on the Hockey Diversity Alliance is that it’s appeasement so the hordes don’t come calling-but they’ll never get as stupid as the NBA or NFL.

The rollout of the Seattle Kraken was soaked in diversity and very progressive. The millennial head of marketing (a twenty something girl) announced the team name in up speak. The first woman NHL scout works for the Kraken. We have not one but two African American play announcers. The girl promoting team swag is Asian. The owner and GM are older white guys though-the horror!!!

  10. Two flotillas of Trump’s Deplorable Navy sortied today in Georgia. One at Lake Allatoona, and one at Clark Hill Reservoir. Y’all swampers had better keep an eye on the Potomac. You might find your ass is de Grasse no 11/3.

  11. MARCH AGAINST RACISM: GOVERNOR’S MARCH TO EVICT THE KKK

Republicans should organize an anti-racism march to Virginia Governor Ralph Northham’s mansion and demand he step down to FIGHT SYSTEMATIC RACISM!

    1. It puts him in the spotlight.
    2. It shows the Republicans actually have a backbone.
    3. It puts the democrats in an awkward position to either join and stand up for their beliefs, or ignore it and remove their #1 tactic to accuse Republicans of being Klan supporters.

Yet, this move to put democrats in Checkmate no matter what they do is
totally lost on Republicans. They’ll just grumble about it and do nothing.

  12. Last I heard, arson is a felony. Theft felony threshold is (was) something like $1000. Possibly the same for damage and destruction of property. They are ALL guilty as a group (co-conspirators and accessories). Once convicted, limit their rights and protections accordingly.

  13. There was a Trump caravan of pick up trucks today in Portland! They started in Klackamas OR and drove through downtown Portland.

Andy Ngo has video of it.

The Trumpsters punched out a few people and blasted AntiFa with pepper spray when AntiFa attacked their trucks.

  14. “They turned Milwaukee, Seattle, and Portland into warzones, and now they’re moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?”

Like hell “they” did. That is about as ludicrous a statement as it would have been to lay the blame for the holocaust on individual 18 year old German soldiers when the Allies were trying Nazi war criminals. This is abject and unequivocal bullshit.

Not that shooting individual German soldiers dead in WWII wasn’t in the best interest of everyone in the civilized world (excepting, of course, the progressive movement), but to say that “they” were ultimately the driving force behind the Nazi scheme to dominate the world, implement the Final Solution, etc is to deflect blame and transfer accountability to the pawns in Game of Life (to quote Mongo).

GTFOH, the Democrat Party leadership and the progressive movement movers and shakers own this and buck would stop there in a just world.

Not that I have a problem with the proposed sanction, it would serve to hinder recruitment, but to allow responsibility for what has been happening to be fobbed off on the footsoldiers who are acting under orders from on high is to insulate the “ruling class,” once again from any responsibility for what they are responded for unleashing on society.

  15. If Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) wants to impress me he would “walk across the aisle” and Preston Brooks a half dozen of his Democrat colleagues. If he doesn’t know which half dozen to start with, give me a call.

JDHasty Tacoma Wa, I’m in the phone book.

  16. There was a shooting in Portland. It looks like AntiFa shot and killed someone from the Trump caravan who was wearing Patriot Prayer/BlueLivesMatter gear.

How are they going to spin this now?

    2
  17. Illustr8r — When I read this last night before going to bed, the “news” reported then was already spun. I read that it was a BLM person who’d been shot and killed.

  18. The problem with this Congressman’s proposed legislation is that it hinges on the verbiage “convicted”

How can any of these fascist fucks get convicted if the Soros-funded DA’s are refusing to prosecute them in the first place?

I think the Congressman knew his legislation was going nowhere but it’s useful to shine a spotlight on these Leftist Democrat cockroaches
