Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf is urging Portland Democratic Mayor Wheeler to request federal assistance for his city following nearly 100 straight days of rioting.
The violence, mostly at night, has resulted in deaths recently of three people and has included clashes between pro-Trump groups and far-left demonstrators.
According to a letter Monday from Wolf to Wheeler, the Department of Homeland Security has made 255 arrests and declared 23 instances of riots and unlawful assemblies during the past month alone.
He also wrote that Wheeler has amid the chaos “stood passively by, arguing that nightly violence ‘will ultimately burn itself out.’ The evidence demonstrates otherwise.” more
Rush called Ted Wheeler a ‘Pajama Boy’ on his show yesterday, ridiculing him for sucking up to the rioters even as they mace him, humiliate and taunt him.
Umm, yeah.
Wheeler doesn’t care as long as he and his party can benefit.
It doesn’t matter what is better for the rank and file.
In a state of rebellion or insurrection.
Roll in the federal troops, curfews and shoot-to-kill orders.

…In the article I just linked, it says it will be necessary for the U.S. Marshall’s office to run a gauntlet of precise charges against those arrested to ensure those charges stick and are not thrown out. It’s not a perfect situation, but it’s not nothing, either. But it sure as hell doesn’t square with the fact that Kyle Rittenhouse is now sitting in a jail and the guy who intended to execute him is at home talking smack about how he regrets not shooting him.
a relative with a county in oregon is in the GOP and he says a county there submitted 5 flu test kits that were opened, removed and resealed, (not tested on anyone) then sent to the testing lab. All 5 came back positive.
