100%FedUp: NEW YORK – Rochester Police Chief La’Ron Singletary and a his command staff have announced their retirement from the Rochester Police Department amid ongoing protests and violent riots.
The announcement was made Tuesday amid calls from protesters for him and Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren to resign after the death of Daniel Prude. Warren has not announced any plans to resign, nor did she ask Singletary to retire.
Singletary served the RPD for 20 years and became the chief in July 2019 after a national search that drew more than 20 applicants. He was recommended for the job unanimously by the internal review committee.
Deputy Chief Joseph Morabito also announced his retirement after more than 34 years of service to the RPD. Deputy Chief Mark Simmons also resigned.
The announcement read, in part:
“As a man of integrity, I will not sit idly by while outside entities attempt to destroy my character. The events over the past week are an attempt to destroy my character and integrity. The members of the Rochester Police Department and the Greater Rochester Community know my reputation and know what I stand for. The mischaracterization and the politicization of the actions that I took after being informed of Mr. Prude’s death is not based on facts, and is not what I stand for.
Well, that’s one way to defund the police…
I sincerely wonder what type of commanders will replace those who retired.
Will they be cops with guns & gang, homicide, drug, organized crime and anti terror experience or will they be from Traffic, Outreach Basketball, and the Hate speech divisions?
There is way too much talent resigning in every police force even up here.

I imagine that what we will start seeing is similar to the West of 1880’s. Locals will police there own and “justice” would be felt with swiftly. Now, unfortunately it won’t be exactly like that but we will have to throw in a sizable amount of Zulu and Mexican raiding parties into the mix.
I suppose those Caucasian types will have to “castle-up” for survival cuz they are on the wanted list.

Who’s re-writing the laws that are on the books? Who has the authority to just wave a hand and say we won’t enforce the laws of the land that have been legally passed?? That/those people need to be charged with aiding the criminals and prosecuted and sent to jail.

…Not kidding about “No Whites Need Apply”, either. Most larger cities won’t even CONSIDER White people for Police Chief, and will do multi-state searches for a Black face to fill it, and they don’t even have to be a POLICE OFFICER in some cases.
It’s literally impossible in Cincinnati for a White person to get the top job, for example. After the 2001 riots, they only do searches outside the Department for Chief, and every Chief hire since then has been Black. The first one they hired was from Detroit and he REFUSED to take the Ohio Peace Officer’s test to legally be a Police Officer in Ohio, so every day he wore his Chief uniform he was impersonating a Poice Officer, but they wanted Black SO BAD they simply chose to ignore it…
