Los Angeles County will not permit door-to-door Halloween trick-or-treating this fall, citing coronavirus health-safety concerns.
The county has also said no to parties, carnivals and festivals, according to local TV station KCAL- 9, CBSN Los Angeles.
“Door-to-door trick-or-treating is not allowed because it can be very difficult to maintain proper social distancing on porches and at front doors especially in neighborhoods that are popular with trick or treaters,” the county’s public health department said in recently released guidelines. more
People should do it anyway and call it a “Pumpkin Spice Matters” protest.

We keep the porch light off and do not participate. Van loads of brats come through the neighborhood and invade for free stuff. We ignore them. Let their parents up their own damn candy.
To be fair, I’d be hesitant about taking children Trick-or-Treating in California, in any circumstances.
I’m going to dress up in a Snow White costume and loot the local CVS of all their candy. Maybe a carton or two of Marlboros, too.
