South Carolina police chief answers his door and is stabbed in his face with an ice pick

BPR: South Carolina police have a suspect into custody after he allegedly stabbed the department’s chief in the face with an ice pick.

According to multiple reports. Chief Franco Fuda of Bonneau said he was at his home Monday when he heard a knock on his front door.

After going outside to meet with the suspect, he reportedly told the chief Fuda was “going to die today” before lunging and stabbing the chief below his left eye with an ice pick as Fuda dialed 911.

The chief noted that the suspect, who was eventually identified as Forrest Bowman by Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputies, then fled the scene and holed up in his mobile home as officers moved in.

A responding SWAT team instructed Bowman to come out of his home a number of times before sending in a robot to determine his location.

Shortly thereafter, the team made an entry and discovered Bowman hiding between a wall and a mattress. Reports noted that a judge denied bond Tuesday evening after Bowman had been charged with attempted murder, assault, and other charges. more here

    I’m guessing they think it makes providing a description of them more difficult (or they don’t match the description now). It’s reported that the suspect was wearing dark clothing. See, it wasn’t me officer …. I ain’t wearin’ nuthin’. They’re pretty crafty I tell ya.

    chances are he has Biden parody porn but the MSM will never report that. but hey, I heard an anonymous source say they found evidence in the suspects house that he masterbates to imaged of Biden. if pressed my source is Harry Reid, who also confessed to beating his monkey to images of Biden.

  6. I still don’t understand it: if the chief had shot the guy the story would be “Police chief shot person who allegedly stabbed him in the face with an ice pick.” Or, more likely, “…shot person who was suspected of allegedly stabbing him….”

  7. I’m guessing the nutjobs are trying to be courteous by making sure they’re nakid when arrested. They’ve been to lockup several times before, they know the drill, and they’re trying to be helpful by making the lockup process more time efficient. Help the police earn a better time-motion study score.

  13. Sorry to hear about Chief Fuda being attacked with an ice pick at his own home. The chief found out the hard way, that when seconds count, the police are minutes away.

    I wonder why the Chief didn’t have his service piece with him.

  16. He is naked because he thinks that if he is clothed, he gives the cops a pretense to think he is hiding a weapon….and then shoot him. As far as why they’d want to shoot him…no need to specify.
