  1. Sunshine is free, but you have to get a good bit of it to produce adequate levels of vitamin D (in northern states the effective time frame is only in the summer months). The Vitamin D Council has lots of good info on it.

A study from a couple of weeks ago put the figure at 77% less risk of contracting the Chyna virus with sufficient vitamin D levels.

I’ve posted here several times before about studies showing that sufficient vitamin D levels also help prevent the flu even better than the vaccines. Vitamin D is known to promote cell differentiation (which is why it has been studied successfully for preventing the onset / recurrence of breast cancer) and for modulating the immune response (which the Chyna virus can cause a cytokine storm where the immune system “overreacts” and mistakenly attacks a persons organs which is what seems to cause the most problems).

The companies where I order supplements online have had a hard time keeping it in stock for the last several months. Swanson’s Vitamins and Puritan’s Pride have good prices and quality products from my experience. And Swanson’s is doing free shipping with a $25 purchase right now.

  2. Evidently, Ruth Bader Ginsburg forgot to take her Vitamin D, but it’s been keeping her clerks healthy enough to write her decisions for the last five years. Her replacement now becomes the biggest issue in the next 45 days.
