Renovated Lizzie Borden house on the market, again

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — A home where Lizzie Borden lived in Fall River, Massachusetts, is on the market again, after being sold most recently in 2018.

The current owners, Donald Woods and Leeann Wilber, also operate a Borden-themed museum and bed-and-breakfast at a different home where Borden was famously accused of killing her father and stepmother with an ax in 1892, the Herald News reported. more

  1. Hans- lol! You know what? women got away with a whole lot of shit back then. More than now. “Whaaat? She couldn’t have done that, she’s a woman! She’s so docile and sweet!” Yeah, well, most of them poisoned people. No blood and guts. lol

  2. Irving’s stories are indeed strange tales. However, I can see certain similarities to how some of the crazies today worship of RBG is similar to the followers of Jenny Fields’ feminism, and the other nutjobs not much different from the Ellen Jamesians. People who use the victim of a violent act as an excuse to mutilate themselves, (as the rioters create excuses to mutilate their communities) while not really caring about the victim, and also try to destroy others that do not agree with them.

  3. MJA: During the reign of Queen Victoria, Parliament passed a law making homosexuality of any form illegal. The Queen changed it so it only applied to men “because women wouldn’t do that.”
