Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s husband named as most ‘problematic’ instance in big admissions scandal at the University of California

There is almost no national media attention to a large admissions scandal rocking the University of California, and (surprise!) the husband of a powerful Democrat seems to be at the center of the most egregious abuse.

While the celebrity-filled admissions scandals surrounding admissions consultant Rick Singer have grabbed major media attention, nobody in the media outside California seems to care very much about this one.

The state auditor of California issued an 82-page report that:

… found that four campuses had admitted at least 64 students between academic years 2013-14 and 2018-19 using inappropriate factors to select them, such as connections to donors, staff or alumni.

Admissions to the University of California are highly prized because tuition there is a fraction (about a third) of what it is at comparable private universities, and the leading campuses, U.C. Berkeley and UCLA, are among the most prestigious in the world, while the other campuses rank very high as well.  U.C. is by far the most highly regarded public university system in the world.

  1. Ignoring what I posted earlier about DiFi, she still has two strikes against her: she is a politician and a Democrat. I know she has many strikes beyond that, but at least she gets a participation medal /sarc
Why is this news? Almost all politicians, and particularly Democrats, believe that the rules they enact do not apply to them.

  2. Her/their crime? They got caught. But yet these lifelong politicians, Oligarchs, have the moral authority to rule over us.
This reminds me of when DiFi was mayor of SF and tried to outlaw handguns in that city. She still had hers. And a carry permit when no one else could get one.

well, since the msm doesn’t want to take the step that gets to feinstein’s husband (and feinstein herself), I’ll take an additional step and mention that the president of UC, which consists of several schools, was janet napolitano, who was scheduled to retire August 1st. How convenient. But no one will go there. they’re well hidden by bloviated msm swamp gas.
I tell you, it is like some insidious tangled up parasitic growth.
They started out with a three step lead, but I do think we’re gaining on them

  4. Thanks to her husband’s influence at least half the students at UC likely are red Chinese spy’s keeping the conveyor belt of stolen technology running back to their masters.
Thanks to their limo driving asset being discovered the Finklestein’s had to fill the gap with even more students.

  5. Her husband has been the bagman for her graft for as long as she has been in the Senate. I remember him resigning from the board of a major defense contractor when she left the Senate committee overseeing the Defense Department procurement process.

  6. I’m a clairvoyant and can prove it. I predict that not one goddamn motherfucking thing will happen to DiFi’s bent piece of shit husband over this… Not one fucking thing, either criminally nor civilly.
