Armenia-Azerbaijan clashes kill at least 16, undermine regional stability

The clashes prompted a flurry of diplomacy to reduce the new tensions in a decades-old conflict between majority Christian Armenia and mainly Muslim Azerbaijan, with Russia calling for an immediate ceasefire and another regional power, Turkey, saying it would support Azerbaijan.

  1. I wonder if Trump can work out a treaty for these two? At first I’d say no because the Azerbaijanis are muslims. But now that he worked things out between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain anything is possible.

  2. Where are all the democrats like Adam Schiff? They only give speeches on how they support Armenians and Armenia. Nothing so far. Not even suggestions to cut foreign aid to Azerbaijan who wants historic Armenian land to be Azerbaijani against the wishes of majority Armenians living there, confirmed by referendum.
The land has been Armenian for thousands of years, while Azerbaijan, did not exist until 1981. Somehow they think that is their land since Joseph Stalin promised them during the Soviet Russia years.
