Mail-in Voting Will Not Prevent a Trump Victory

American Thinker:

Most people supporting President Trump in this election are confident that he will get more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, but they fear that fraudulent mail-in ballots will steal or delay the election results. After analyzing state voting laws — and the 2016 electoral map — I feel confident in saying that neither is a likely outcome.

First, only ten states mail ballots to every voter on their registration rolls. Those states have faced justified criticism for risking their results’ integrity because voter rolls are outdated and make verifying identity difficult. But under the Electoral College system, this issue won’t affect the outcome of the election. Eight of those ten states went blue in 2016, and the other two — Utah and Arizona — are likely to stay red. Vote by mail will not affect the outcome of the election because it is mostly done in states that Trump does not need to win.

The second group of concern is the 14 states, including Ohio, who mailed absentee ballot applications — not ballots — to all of their “registered voters.”

  1. …it’s not just the Presidency, its the Senate too. They steal the Senate, they will destroy the President.

If we lose either, its civil war.

…and stealing THAT would be much, much easier…

  2. We put our ballots in the dropbox yesterday. We didn’t take a selfie while doing so. We did not post emphatically the importance of voting in this election on all of our social media sites afterwards.

    We are not liberals.

  3. Call me once bitten and twice shy. It’s not the “mail in” portion of this bull shit that allows them to cheat, it’s the extended deadline. In 2018 we watched a shit load of California Republicans get declared winners and a couple days later have those results overturned do to slime balls running around and collecting (paying for) as many votes as they needed to win.
SNS is exactly right concerning the Senate. What good will it do to elect Trump and not give him the Senate. And vote harvesting will play a major part. Also a law needs to be passed that monetary donations need to come from ONLY their district. This is ridiculous.

  4. Arizona doesn’t mail ballots to every voter on their rolls. You have to ask for it each time or put yourself on a list to be mailed a ballot for each election. In fact, if you’re a registered independent, you have to tell the state which party’s ballot you want in the primaries.

    Ask me how I know.

  5. I’m an election judge in northern Illinois. I’m relatively new to being a judge, but the ‘veterans’ have never seen the turnout for early voting, the surrender of ballots mailed to voters and the number of new voters. We have had folks go home and get their mail-in ballot to surrender because they didn’t want their vote be counted 14 days after the election. Quite a few older voters are voting for the first time or voting after many years. When I had the opportunity to ‘accidentally’ see, their vote is was for Trump. Interesting anecdotal evidence.
