… Connery was an audience favorite for more than 40 years and one of the screen’s most reliable and distinctive leading men. Once pigeonholed as Ian Fleming’s sexy Agent 007, he went on to distinguish himself with a long and mature career in such films as “The Wind and the Lion,” “The Man Who Would Be King” and “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.” More at Variety

Is his “license” transferable?
The.. Man who would be king is a must watch
RIP, Sean you were the best James Bond ever and not too bad either in Time Bandits and The Hunt For Red October and other films. You made up for all that in these movies when you were in Zardoz which sucked and made no sense.
Tonight I’ll watch Highlander (the movie) and have some Scotch.
Unsure about Red October because of “smart alec Baldwin”.
Who knows, maybe I can picture Trump as Baldwin?
Connery really pissed off feminists!
THE ROCK is my favorite Connery performance. ZARDOZ is my favorite Connery guilty pleasure.
I also forgot the sci fi space Western Outland where he played a Marshall like Gary Cooper in High Noon fighting corruption and lawlessness on a space mining operation mostly by himself.
His movies have cemented a place for him in history!
R.I.P.
RIP Sean Connery; you were the first and best James Bond. My first (5 YOA) grown-ups’ movie at the drive-in with my folks and little brother, “Goldfinger.”
Yeah, I know, but Roger Moore is “The Saint,” Connery is Bond.
Roger Moore was a cartoonish James Bond and the worst of all the 007 actors.
He left a bright memory that will never fade. I recall 1965 “The Hill”. https://youtu.be/cnJ-Uc8qQaE
A giant has passed from us. RIP good sir!
This makes me sad. Very sad.
I am sho shad,…….loved this guy in any and all he did! Godspeed Sean.
RIP Bond James Bond. Thoughts and Prayers to your family. 🕊️❤️🙏
RIP.
Enjoyed his work … even though “Shalaco” sucked.

Bummer, the best of the Bonds. Bet he was none too happy when they started trying to cast the next Bond as a female LBGT hero.
I guess the Holy Grail had a expiration date.
R.I.P. Mr. Connery.
“Oh Pussy.”
I bet he’s having Champagne with Honor Blackman as we speak.

‘“Oh Pussy.”

…she offered her Honor, he Honored her offer, so it was Honor and off her all night”.
RIP guy who would have made Star Trek 5 WAY better, Godspeed, guess you went to meet God after all…
“– Pretty much everyone on the planet knows this, but first choice to play Sybok was… Sean Connery. The reference to Sha Ka Ree is a tip of the cap to the actor.”

Get used to it. Old celebrities are going to be dropping like flies.
Sean Connery made “The Man Who Would Be King” one of the greatest adventure films ever produced. He was also terrific in: “The Wind And The Lion”, “The Molly Maguires”, “Medicine Man”, and “Finding Forrester”, but he’s always going to be best remembered as the very best Bond, James Bond.
God speed, Sean Connery.
Star’s like him come once in a lifetime.
Goodnight sweet Scottsman.
Your star will forever shine bright.
Your legacy lives on!
RIP Sean!
We all have to go sometime but man-o-man did Sean Connery cut a wild swath or what? He’s left behind dozens of real gems for generations to enjoy.
From “you’ve had your 6” in Dr No to popping wood behind an x-ray screen in Zardoz, he’s a man’s man.
I’d have to say my fav was The Man Who Would Be King, for both Caine and Connery-just a wonderful movie.
If someone used his bio as a screenplay outline, no one would believe it.
God speed Dude.
Billy F. not only movie stars but rock stars, too

“I also forgot the sci fi space Western Outland…”
My favorite line in Outland is one our President could say of his AGs and FBIs as well…
“Rudd:
You’re supposed to protect us. You’re the police. It’s your job. Where are your men?
Marshal William T.O’Neil (CONNERY):
My men? My men are shit.”

I don’t care what anyone says, I still like “Zardoz”………..
“Ooooh, James…”
And oh those smirks…
The End…(roll the credits)
RIP ‘MR. Bond’, THEE best 007..
I actually enjoyed him most in The Untouchables and Highlander, a role MADE for him.
Terrible! Godspeed Mr. Connery…
Once competed in Mr Universe long before Arnold.

💪
The 007 movies were huge in the 60’s. RIP Mr. Connery.
Darby O’Gill and the little people… hope he was escorted by angels instead of those dark riders that gave me nightmares as a kid.
RIP 007

RIP. Thanks for many of the greatest movie characters.
Sad. RIP
If you’re feeling nostalgic and want to watch Bond movies, Pluto has a channel that is all Bond movies all the time.
Dr. No is playing now.
The first Sean Connery Bond movie.
“Shaken,not stirred.”
Sean’s Jimmy Malone in ‘The Untouchables’ was my favorite. “Just like a WOP to bring a knife to a gunfight” with a twinkle in his eye. RIP Sir.
Remember the Untouchables: “When they send one of yours to the hospital you send one of theirs to the morgue.”
Then some pip squeak punk copied the line: “When they go low we kick them”
I guess he’s in Double O Heaven
“I should have mailed it to the Marx Brothers.”
^^My favorite Sean Connery line of all time.^^
