  1. Gee, I wonder if this would have happened if the guy’s pistol had an actual safety switch/lever instead of a trigger with that little fiddly bit sticking out front?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know all about the arguments pro/con about pistol safeties. But if you’re simply stuffing your gat in your waistband, you need a gat with a safety. Uhh, you also need to work on your judgment.

  2. I have NO sympathy for any dumbfux that jam a handgun down their pants, unless it’s an uncocked single action revolver, they’re just trying to look MACHO…but that can be hard to do after you shoot your dick off!

  3. My friend’s daughter-in-law wanted me to assemble and “brief” her on the handling of her husband’s glock…. I refused on the grounds that I would be responsible. I tell all people inquiring, that gun ownership does not equal skills…..

Owning a weapon doesn’t make you armed anymore than owning a guitar makes you a musician.

And Glocks need a fucking positive safety. Which they don’t have.

  5. Being proficient with a firearm, and safe, is an acquired skill, it’s also a perishable one. Glocks are amazingly simple. If you put your finger on that trigger and pull it, it’s going off. I’ve changed my opinion on recommending Glocks to new shooters because they are so simplistic. By the way, there are one hell of a lot of Glock clones out there these days. Some manufactured by Sig.
