Nolte: Backlash Against Fox News Explodes

Once the hysteria over the presidential election recedes, it should be interesting to see what the Fox News Channel’s ratings look like. Online, there is definitely a backlash growing against the disgraced outlet.
What should worry Fox above all is that they appear to have forever lost their core viewers, the people who were once the most loyal.
You never want to lose your base. Once you lose your base, you’re in serious trouble.
The backlash had been brewing for a while but really took off after Chris Wallace’s dreadful and dreadfully biased and dishonest role as moderator in the first presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden.
The backlash then went nuclear after Fox News maliciously and erroneously called Arizona for Joe Biden on Tuesday night — a state that is still too close to call.
Fox News has stunk for years, but over the past few months it’s gone beyond stinking to out-and-out betrayal of its loyal viewers, especially with its presidential polls that are not simply incorrect, they are bald-faced lies.

When Establishment Republicans Tell You This Election Was on the Level, Do You Believe Them?
Hates it but watches it.
That’s all that matters, that they watch it.
They think they’re saving their asses (and they ARE ASSES). They stuck their finger in the wind and determined it was blowing left.
Conservative contributors leave en masse and FNC is nothing more than EVERY other media outlet out there competing for a shrinking pool of viewers. FNC craters in a year.
FIRST: I’m not telling you guys what to do.
Let’s get that out of the way.
But if you’re in the mood to annoy or destroy FOX-
My suggestions:
1) Delete FOX News apps from all mobile devices.
2) Remove FOX from your ‘favorites’ on your cable devices (Believe me. They’ll know about it)
3) Remove them from your bookmarks and clear your internet history if you have visited the site recently. (your browser knows where you were and they sell them back the info)
4) End subscriptions of FOX products.
5) If you are on social sites like instagram, twitter or facebook, UNLIKE their pages.
6) Send them (polite. lol) emails, tweets, messages and name examples of why they suck. Don’t just tell them they suck. lol. Because those get eye-rolled. Make them read WHY they suck.
You don’t have to go screaming and threatening their advertisers. Their advertisers will adjust themselves when they realize FOX is getting less and less eyeballs for their money.
Again, I’m not telling you what to do. But if you want to do something, those are the options I can think of right off the top of my head.
Stopped trusting and watching fox in 2008. That’s exactly when I found IOTW and only trusted them. Haven’t had cable or watched TV in years. I suspected they were lefties in disguise. If their hosts are actually true patriots they will leave that station soon. It’s good to know who the enemies are.
One of the worst moves they made was hiring that traitor Paul Ryan.
I think the McCain machine along with Paul, set-up the Arizona crap of Biden winning which caused the domino effect we witnessed over the past five days. There is no doubt in my mind, they had this planned. 🤬
I wanna see Wallace gone. I wonder what Tucker will do, maybe Newsmax will pick him and Pirro up, that will give Newsmax a big boost. Don’t own a TV so I don’t watch Fux. I watch Tucker on my tablet, really don’t even watch, we just listen to what he has to say.
The McCain stain still causes problems in the GOP over in Arizona. Look at what ice queen Cindy is doing over there.
Fox News is dead to me now, I will not watch them or peruse their internet news site any longer. I am sick and tired of all the lies, more lies and even more damned lies they spew out on their news network on a daily basis. I’ve also given up on local news as well. They can all go to Hell as far as I am concerned. I’m mad as Hell and I’m not going to take it anymore! My trust is in God and not man and their sycophants and certainly not the news which is almost always negative when it comes to so called fair and balanced reporting.
@MJA – what about recording individual programs? Is that picked up as viewership? I currently record four – two of which I just stopped, Martha McCollum and Laura Ingraham – leaving only Tucker and Maria.
Fox is a globalist elite organization. You forget Rupert was a big Hilary supporter and donor. I refuse to watch anything on Fox. the good stuff usually ends up online- on non Fox owned websites.
Tucker needs to do a podcast separate from FOX. But I bet his contract won’t allow it.

I was talking to my friend yesterday about fox news. Logically it doesn’t make sense why they called Arizona for biden soon after the polls closed. But I’m wondering was this a message being sent out for the cheating to begin? They knew that it was going to be a historical win for President Trump and they had to stop it?
Several major brands of smart TVs nowadays collect viewing data and report it back to marketers. It’s gotten so significant that companies that aggregate this stuff are beginning to be competitive with Nielsen. If you don’t want them to include your viewing in totals, you need to find where in the set options you can turn off this feature.

Years ago, I did what I think and have suggested everyone do….I canceled my sat-tv. Whether you have sat or cable, merely “not tuning in” to the net-news channels has no impact on their revenue. The media bosses will only change when they suffer major hits to the bottom line.
It is also important that no one buys “new” dvd’s, cd’s, payperview, or goes to see a movie at the theater.
If everyone that hates the news nets did this, it would be only a short time before the higher ups ordered them to change their behavior.
As for fox, as of last week, I won’t even go to their website.
I watch the enemy’s agitprop just enough to see how they are thinking and telegraphing their punches. My sources for “real” information do not depend on liars, thieves and turncoats like fox.

I sent the following letter to Hannity, Carlson, Ingraham, Pirro, and Levin yesterday. That was before Fox suspended Pirro’s show last night.
Subject: Faithless Betrayal
Laura: As a former TV journalist and manager, and as a retired attorney, I have to say that watching Fox News Saturday as its air “talent” mindlessly joined the “Biden is Elected President” parade was most disconcerting.
I know quite well that it is not the media which decides an election, it is the voters as certified by the state in which the particular part of the election took place.
I doubt, and sincerely hope, that you do not knuckle under to the Fox influence.
I will be waiting impatiently to watch your show on Monday.
For now I must tell you, Fox “News” is dead to me. I shall never watch it again save for three or four possible shows: yours, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, and Mark Levin. As for the rest…dead to me. And don’t plan on having Donna Brazille or Juan Williams on for any purpose or you will lose me as well.

Over the past couple of years FNC has increasingly paired guest I’d like to hear with someone I cannot stand. Prompting me to change the channel, skip hearing the person I wanted the hear, and not return to it five minutes later. It got worse after the first debate.
The dissatisfaction is being noticed & reported. Curious that some links to websites reporting the exodus from FNC return – Page not found when clicked on.

Maybe reading too much into it but I finished Bongino’s show from Friday and he was talking about having to reflect and making big decisions for the future not related to his health issue. This came after he mentioned how disappointed he was in the Fox decision desk re Arizona. I assumed he was considering if he feels comfortable sticking with a network that helped him when he was starting out but has become corrupted to a point that he needs to move on.
After doing the YouTube watching of Newsmax since Tuesday, today I found that News ax was on Comcas all along (channel 1115).
Saves a step.

Wonder Woman has a legacy? A legacy of what? What’s the connection between the 45th anniversary of the mostly forgotten TV show Wonder Woman and Kamala Harris? That they are both unreal cartoon characters?
It’s a low point for Fox to publish this trashy “news item”, but we’ll likely see the network go a lot lower.

The 1 a.m Greg Gutfeld show was background noise while I was web surfing.
Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace started at 2 a.m. before I noticed Gutfeld’s show had ended.
Chris opened with (paraphrased), “Joe Biden is elected 46th president of the United States. Can he heal the nation?”
The two stupid sentences to start his show were like two poorly written opening sentences of a book you quickly knew you did not want to read.
Don’t know or care what he said after that. I was off to let a murder story on ID be the background noise.
This am Fox has this headline: Trump team planning rallies as some aides privately acknowledge legal fights won’t swing election to pres.
Fox is trying to undermine Trump’s attempt to get a fair reading of ballots. The Network wants us all to concede and give up.
I’m done with Fox.
