LA Mayor Bans Unnecessary Walking As Part Of New ‘rona-19 Restrictions

Daily Caller: Democratic Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti issued a new emergency order Wednesday that bans unnecessary “travel on foot” as he warns the city is nearing a “devastating tipping point” in their fight against COVID-19.

“Our city is now close to a devastating tipping point, beyond which the number of hospitalized patients would start to overwhelm our hospital system, in turn risking needless suffering and death,” Garcetti wrote in the order. “These unfortunate facts about the spread of COVID-19 in our City mean that we must resume some of the more restrictive measures we instituted in the Spring.”

The order prohibits “all travel, including, without limitation, travel on foot, bicycle, scooter, motorcycle, automobile, or public transit,” with limited exceptions. read more

  1. So just how soon will we all be cocooned/trapped inside plastic bubbles like a hamster inside a hamster wheel in order to be able to safely go outside in public? I have a walk for the left and their minions, a walk off a plank into shark infested waters.

  2. So… let’s say hypothetically I had this REALLY big dumbass for a brother, who let’s just say, might have driven you to L.A. from Arizona 5 days ago… and he PLANNED on being back in state by the 9th…

Is this HYPOTHETICAL dumb phuck brother stuck in California now?

    Is it this serious?

Does anyone here live there that can describe the situation first hand?

  4. @Anonymous-I don’t live in LA, but in Riverside, about 40 miles southeast. Anecdotally, I live within a mile of a major hospital. You’d expect to see lines of people and all sorts of activity, but it is quiet.
The overlords in CA are the ones at the tipping point-they see that they are losing control of the people and are scrambling to regain it.
People are woke to the news that most counties in CA have used Dominion voting. People are questioning the one-party rule that has gotten us to this point. The curfew-breaking parties are growing.
The peasants and serfs are gathering pitchforks and torches. The banned plastic straw that will break the camel’s back is in position and this state will soon explode.
It will all be on Newsome’s neatly coiffed head (which will hopefully be on a spike outside his never-been closed winery).
@GeofftheAardvark-there is also the perp walk.

  5. San Diego is close by. They’ve got big ships with lots of guns on board to train on Garcetti & Newsom.
Just to encourage these two to behave constitutionally, of course.

“How soon until he restricts “unnecessary breathing”?”

…is everyone wearing a mask? Yes?

…then he kind of already DID…

  7. CBS This Morning had their medical “expert” tell viewers that either vaccine will require 2 shots spaced by 3 or 4 weeks. Even then, he says, masks will still be needed.

First it was shelter in place for 2 weeks to stop the spread.
Then it was 30 days lockdown.
Now it’s rolling lockdowns with active police enforcement.
Next its the vaccine plus indefinite mask mandates.
And President-Defect Biden says a mere 100 days of masking in 2021 will save us.

There seems to be a trend here…

In other news, a proposed law in the UK would allow government agents to commit crimes “in the national interest”.

I think the US is ahead of that particular curve…
