Are they going back to naming themselves The Cleveland Spiders? Locally our baseball team is the Spokane Indians and a local HS sports team is named the North Central Indians. It’s getting to the point that any name for any team will be offensive to some disgruntled pissant and they’ll all become No names or pick your city Cowards, the Mediocres, or the Ben Dovers but that’s probably be offensive to queers. Give us a friggin break and leave the Sports team names alone. My HS team is named the Ferris Saxons and I’m sure that’s gotta go since it glorifies old dead white guys who raped and pillaged Europe in the Dark Ages.
