Just The News:
House brass snubs Ocasio-Cortez for coveted committee spot after she called for new leadership.
The House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Thursday voted to seat a New York lawmaker on a powerful committee – but it wasn’t Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The committee picked Rep. Kathleen Rice to serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., had nominated four Democrats for the panel but left the fifth slot open for the steering committee to fill. Rice decisively won the slot by a vote of 46-13, Politico reported.
“I’m taking into account who works against other members in primaries and who doesn’t,” Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, told the website, an apparent reference to Ocasio-Cortez’s efforts to help progressives in the 2020 Democrat primaries. more
AHAHAHAHA
Go ahead. Fight the establishment and the deep state. The Repubs have already seen this.
However, it is obvious that some demographics do not care about bucking the system. They believe “do it my way, or it doesn’t count”. Sadly, the deep state and existing bureaucracy are so entrenched that it really does not matter.
How humiliating for America’s Dumbest Bartender.
Ummmm Sandy, just look at the Republican gains in the House for your answer.

Great thinking dems!! Take an idiot fresh out of the romper room and assign her to run a committee!
Henry Cuellar is another one who would serve us better with term limits.
Too bad his constituents, both north and south of the border, will keep him in office until he croaks.
