Colorado County Asks To Secede To Join Wyoming

GOP USA: WELD COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) – If you live in Weld County, you may soon be asked if you want to live in Wyoming instead.

According to the political committee “Weld County Wyoming,” the question is part of a new push to get a measure on the November ballot that would “instruct Weld County Commissioners to engage and explore the annexation of Weld County with the State of Wyoming’s Legislature.”

“Can this be done? Yes, it can be done. Is it going to be easy? No,” Christopher “Todd” Richards said during a meeting posted to YouTube in November.

According to Colorado’s campaign finance disclosure website, Richards registered Weld County Wyoming in February 2020. He said during the meeting posted to YouTube that he got the idea in 2019 after reading an op-ed in the Denver Post and began pursuing the idea through a Facebook page soon after. more

  1. This is the way to start.

Northern Cal, northern Nevada, eastern Oregon and Washington counties to join Idaho, etc. etc. The next step is separation of the middle states from the US, joined by Indiana, parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, parts of Vermont and NH, certainly Florida and most of the southern states. We would have the Texas ports, New Orleans, Mobile, Jacksonville, Miami, maybe a toehold on a Great Lakes port such as Duluth. Eureka CA could be built into a major port on the Pacific. It used to be, but the liberals stopped the lumber trade in the area, leaving Eureka a crumbling town that relies on a few cruise ships a year coming in and bringing in some revenue.

The idea could work, without bloodshed we hope.

  2. Actually, while I named the surrounding states around my own, it takes port access to truly accomplish a secession. Keep that in mind when you plan your secession.

  3. Actually, as far as Oregon is concerned, it’d be easier and cheaper just to build walls around Portland, Salem, and Eugene, and then just secede the rest of the state. Problem solved.

  4. Borders between countries are argued all over the world ALL the time, hence wars.

But, this county is not unusual to the American Map and Landscape in defining boundaries in our history.

IOW there have been, are and will be disputes…

It is getting amazingly stupid. But the Nobel committee at least has a tradition to fall back on. They gave Obama the prize after he had been in office a few weeks.

I was thinking WTF? then, and even more now with the committee considering giving it to BLM. In just one incident that I remember, back in June BLM burned down lots of buildings in Minneapolis, one which consumed an inhabitant inside. I consider that murder.

In addition to that, the person that brought some wanted peace to the world was President Trump with the agreements between Israel and some of the Arab states. I would be surprised if he is even considered for the prize.

    I despise the Nobel committee.

  6. That’s interesting. Have some customers up there. Definitely a different timbre than what is found down towards Denver and the Springs.

When Texas finally votes to, and does, leave the union of falsehoods and broken compacts, she needs to reclaim all of the territory that Washington forced her to cede as price of entry. It encompassed the eastern plains of both what are now New Mexico and Colorado, as well as the Oklahoma Panhandle, western plains of Kansas, and a fair piece of southern Wyoming.

Once that kicks off I would not be too surprised to see other states rushing to join the reborn Republic of Texas, all the way up to Alaska. Might even pick up a goodly chunk of Canada, whose abused masses are also likewise yearning for liberty.

  7. Wasn’t that one of Wilson’s Fourteen Points?

Course, it didn’t mean shit here, only in the Balkans, the Mid-East, Africa, Asia, South America, Central Asia, Anatolia, and other meaningless places inhabited by funny-talking bad-breath foreigners with big noses.

    Good luck. Freedom isn’t Free.

  8. They won’t let you go.
    They CAN’T let you go.
If they allowed people to opt out of tyranny, eventually, all the producers would go.
Nothing would remain but tapeworms, cockroaches, ticks, fleas, and pecker gnats.
A nation of parasites eats itself into extinction.
Additionally, their lust is to rule over and command the lives (and deaths) of those who would be free.
All their policies, all their aims, all their legislation is focused on dominion – to crush the life and the spirit out of America – to kill the last vestige of hope – to make us a God-less hoard of ignorant, chanting, trashcan-lid-banging barbarians.
    They are truly Satanic.

  9. Trying to secede will give y’all the true reason for the Civil War. It sure wasn’t about slavery which would have died a quiet death soon enough without the death of over 700,000 men.

It was about the cash the South would have stopped paying to DC. The North also imposed huge tariffs on imported goods making them too expensive to purchase and forcing them to buy from the North.

At the beginning of the Civil War the South paid about 75% of all taxes collected. No way in hell were Abe and his invaders going to lose that.

And that’s just what the North did, they invaded the South. Under the pretense of freeing the slaves. What a crock of bullshit.

And any state, especially Texas, the only state with it’s own electrical grid, massive port facilities and room for millions more, trying to escape this tyranny without violence better get ready for Civil War 2.0.

REgressives would never leave us alone. Never.tho

  10. As I recall from living in CO, weld County is a big oil producing area. CO won’t ever let this happen. But they’ll sure as hell try and impose every insane restriction and regulation to strangle the people living there.

    Yaknow, for the climate.
