The CDC “suggestion” goes on to say that exceptions are where federal, state, local and tribal rules decree that you mask up and social distance…so what is really so different than what they have been doing?

To show her benevolence she decreed we don’t have to wear masks outdoors any more. The brainwashed high school kids and 20 somethings were the only ones doing that any way.
Maybe because the “science” has changed again and even the Left, though probably subconsciously, is getting tired of it.
It’s human nature to want stability in our lives, and the constant and rapid changing of our basic social behavioral rules violates that.
They’re running out of places to move the goalposts.

My father went into his local diner for coffee this morning. He is turning 90 this year and didn’t wear his mask. The waitress and some other patrons told him Cuomo hasn’t lifted the mask mandate. My father announced, ” I played this game long enough” I got vaccinated and I am done and furthermore the US Constitution gives the right to not wear the mask. If you want to kick me out , fine.” The waitress went and got him his coffee and no one else said a word.
Your captors won’t set you free until you have forgotten who imprisoned you.
Scientists have found that if you are still alive three days after getting a covid vaccine, you’re chances of remaining alive go up.
Fear.
Of being making their own decision.
Jealousy.
Of those who will openly carry on with their life and earn a living.
They are paralyzed by fear that other people will catch up and surpass them financially.

Because the records they kept for who got jabbed are worse than the records they kept for who voted. Now anyone can claim they are vaccinated, with no legal penalty and the PTB have no easy way to prove whether they are or not. Gonna need a shitload of audits to straighten the mass out.
But you Dems really hate audits, don’t you? So now you’ll have to depend on fascist corporations to keep us in masks. And you still don’t know what future surprises the mystery jab holds for you. I’m not in the game, but I’m watching. It’s riveting.

Why only those who have been fully vaccinated. Is this some effort to distinguish between the vaccinated and un-vaccinated so the un-vaccinated can be shamed into getting the stick?
If the vaccinated don’t have to wear masks because they no longer need to protect themselves (or others we were told), then those willing to accept the risk by going unmasked should not have to wear them, either.
I’m in rural-ish Ohio, and i live abt 2 miles from a truck stop. i head there most mornings for coffee. They have great machines that grind and brew fresh for every cup. Good stuff. I haven’t worn a mask there for abt a month. Typical morning puts “no mask” people at 25-50%. Signs everywhere about no mask no service. Management was tough abt it a couple months ago. Now the say nothing.
I’m at one of the big box building supply stores daily sans mask. Nobody says a word. Local restaurants, corner stores… no demands for masks being made.
I do see people quietly freaking, though, especially at the truck stop gas station. No outbursts, but their internal panic is palpable. I watch sometimes to see what plate is on their car. The typical freak out plate is new york. I make an assumption that the freak-outs are urban, and, btw, they are mostly young. In fairness, since i’m not young my assessment of their youth is suspect.

It’s just the nature of liberalism. Their minds are destroyed.
They only say this because they want to try to get the non compliant to vaccinate even though we knew masks didn’t work since last summer.
The CDC doesn’t know what they are doing. If I hear anyone say “follow the science” I know they are stupid.

@runningbear so CDC is stupid. So be it. I’m using the lib playbook. If the CDC says no masks for the vaccinated, I run with it. If they say you must wear a mask, i ignore it.
I was arguing with libs online re vaccine hesitant people (i’m vaccinated). i shut down the conversation by declaring “My Body My Choice,” which I certainly did lift from their playbook. They had nowhere to go except out of the conversation.
