The Latest Tawdry Tale Of A Massachusetts Trooper

Howie Carr:

On the home page of his lovey-dovey wedding website from 2019, ex-State Trooper Dwayne Correia #3562 includes this sappy bromide from Nicholas Sparks:

“Marriage is about becoming a team. You’re going to spend the rest of your life learning about each other, and every now and then things blow up.”

Things blew up big-time for Dwayne Correia last Aug. 11.

It was such a bad day for this week’s disgraced state cop that the MSP wrote a 23-page report on his sordid misadventures in Rhode Island (where he’d gotten married, on Goat Island, almost exactly one year earlier).

Even though Correia was forced to resign, with a dishonorable discharge, the corrupt State Police fought desperately to stop release of the damning report, dragging their jackbooted feet for more than two months.

Last Aug. 11 was a very busy day for Correia, who is also a former RI state cop, married to a local cop in Bristol County. First, according to the report, he drove to MSP headquarters in Framingham “to sign his ‘Disposition without Hearing/Waiver of Right to Trial Board’ (waiver) for a previous investigation that occurred at SP Middleboro on Feb. 25, 2020.”

In other words, he was disposing of another little problem he’d had on the job. So Dwayne was ready for a celebration.

As he later confessed, Correia told his bride he’d be working that evening. Then he unplugged the GPS on his unmarked cruiser so that the brass wouldn’t know where he was. He drove south in his uniform, then ducked into a Raymour and Flanigan’s furniture store to change into street clothes. more here

Here are the official MSP documents concerning the sordid circumstances which led to Correia’s “dishonorable discharge,” reports which the State Police fought desperately (and improperly) not to release to the taxpayers.

  1. …IDK, I think if I left the house saying I was going to work, stayed out unexpectedly all night and returned in an immaculate uniform fully rested and showered, and then did NOT get paid for that day at ALL, let ALONE for the all-night overtime, since my wife’s not a stupid woman, she’d probably say SOMETHING about it, and it wouldn’t be something HAPPY, either…

  2. …but many, many years ago, I remember playing a police simulator game back in the 8 bit, story type of computer based video game days on a robost 286 processor. This was the sort of thing where it gave you a scenario and prompted you for a reaction, and there would be consequences for that action, such as you’d start the day next to your police car in the parking lot, and if you didn’t walk around before getting in and driving off, your game ended abruptly because there was a flat tire you didn’t see, that sort of thing.

…Well anyway, there was one scenario in it I recall (because I was a teenager at the time) where you as the cop pull over a very hot and very drunk woman who offers sex if you don’t write her a ticket. This is a trap because your character ends up having bouncy car sex (8 bit graphics, so no, it didn’t SHOW it), but then it explains that your in-game wife divorced you because you got an STD and gave it to her, and then you got fired because the woman ratted you out when the NEXT cop caught her and DIDN’T accept her offer.

…I had no idea at the time that was based on the real-life adventures of the Massachusetts State Police, so props for authenticity…

While on the job over the years I had 4 or 5 buddies (knew of about a dozen more)who got fired for this same shit, sticking their dick where it doesn’t belong or propositioning the wrong woman while on duty. And if I had a dollar for every time I was offered sex to get out of a ticket or an arrest, it is rampant.

True story, about 10 years ago while vacationing on Maui the wife and I were sitting in the hot tub when another couple joined us. We began to chat about our professions, he was also CHP and he told me that for about 8 years prior he was the partner of the CHP officer that murdered that woman. For the next hour I got the whole scoop on what went down, all the gory details, the betrayal that was felt within the whole office and him particularly.

Like the old saying you can fuck a hundred women but suck one dick and you are a cock-sucker for life, this one incident negated everything good that office did in the past and ruined the community trust.
