National File:
44-year old Washington, D.C. man Lucas Wall has filed a lawsuit against seven different airlines and a separate lawsuit against TSA challenging mask mandates on airplanes. Wall is suing the airlines Frontier, Spirit, Delta, JetBlue, Allegiant, Alaska and Southwest in Orlando, Florida’s U.S. District Court, seeking over $300,000 in damages. Wall struggles to breathe in masks due to his generalized anxiety disorder, according to the plaintiff.
“The evidence is indisputable that all seven defendants for the past year or so during the COVID-19 pandemic have illegally discriminated against potentially millions of flyers with disabilities,” Wall said in a statement. “By refusing to grant any mask exemptions and/or requiring such an onerous exemption process that travelers such as myself with a medical condition that makes it impossible for them to cover their face are essentially banned from using the nation’s commercial aviation system.” more
Good I hope he sues their asses into bankruptcy.
No bailouts either from the taxpayers.
I had already decided when TSA started strip searching old ladies and fondling people’s private parts I would no longer fly.
Driving may take longer but at least you still have control over your life, and you don’t have to deal with irritating passengers.
^^^^^ what Miss Kitty said ^^^^^
When all of these communist, marxist criminals are arrested I want them in Jail with masks.
They should also be forced to listen to the never ending recordings of “covid instructions and rules”.
Let them wear the masks and listen to the recorded messages 24/7 until they are put to death for crimes against humanity.
People with anxiety issues were allowed to bring comfort peacocks, squirrels, horses and skunks onboard regardless of the impact of these untamed, non housebroken critters on the other passengers who may have allergies or just not want to smell the dump that the horse just took because their needs superseded the general flying public. Remember?
But for some reason, their special status went out the window and flight attendants became air bullies due to covid.
I have flown a few times this year. I think the mask mandate is more rigorously enforced than it was last year (I flew last June only) – but I think that is due to the Biden EO in January and beyond the airlines’ control. But I think that the airlines have at times overstepped their bounds, and those particular incidents are worthy of lawsuits.
Of course it’s all a charade.
Meanwhile passports and masks are not needed sneaking into our southern border.
Trump is Awesome!!!!
It’s so fucking preposterous wearing a mask in a confined cabin yet you’re allowed to remove it to eat or drink. WTHell?? Does the virus avoid you when you’re maskless but eating?
And heaven help you if the self appointed mask nazi stew sees your mask isn’t covering your nose.
Hard to believe but there was a time that I actually enjoyed flying. Now it’s not much more than an ordeal.
A step in the right direction, but as long as the Tits/Testicles Squeezers Assn is still involved in airport “security”, I still won’t fly unless absolutely necessary.
The last time I enjoyed flying commercially the airlines were giving away cigarettes.
If I wanted to fly, I’d grow wings…
