Criminal makes mockery out of MA gun laws, waves gun around as cops chase him through streets

LET:

SPRINGFIELD, MA- If you want the poster child for the failure of gun control measures, look no further than the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, home of inept RINO Gov. Charlie Baker, and two of the most radical members of the Senate, Democrats Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren and far left nutjob Ayanna Pressley.

Massachusetts of course has one of the stricter gun laws in the nation, yet this past weekend, 43-year-old Jose Montanez was able to acquire a firearm and decide to blast off five shots in no particular direction.

Police were notified of a “ShotSpotter” activation, reporting five rounds of gunfire in the crime capital of Massachusetts, Springfield.

According to Channel 22 in Springfield, police were notified of the ShotSpotter activation at around 7:25 p.m. on Sunday on High Street in the city.

A city-owned video camera captured the moments after the shots were fired, and Montanez was seen running throughout the streets, gun in hand. Channel 22 said crime analysts were able to view the camera in real-time and assisted officers at the incident. more here

  1. The ONLY thing shot spotter “does,” is give the cops a general neighborhood locale, where they need to come out & draw the chalk outline. 🙄

    THAT’S what they’re used for in Pittsburgh, anyways… 😳

  2. Gun buying and restriction laws are pretty much worthless when you steal or buy a stolen gun as most criminals do….
But, the politicians sure do love to expound their virtue and beat their chests every time they pass a new one that only affects legal buyers/owners.
