Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a bill into law that ensures children younger than 16 can operate a lemonade stand without a government permit or license.

Senate Bill 119, or Hayli’s Law, was filed by state Sen. Patrick Joyce after 11-year-old Hayli Martenez of Kankakee had her lemonade stand shut down by the local health department due to lack of running water. more

  1. Any sane person would be asking: What the hell kind of shitfinger ideocracy are we running if something this ludicrous as shutting down kid’s lemonade stand is even possible, much less seen as rational?
