Bush Completes His Scummy Betrayal

Townhall

Kurt Schlichter:

George W. Bush reaffirmed his status as garbage last week, for those few cons still in doubt.

Bush got up on the 9/11 anniversary and proceeded to demonstrate, again, the essentiality of class in American society. Not “class” in the sense that he is classy; Bush, though it was very important to him to front that he has such class, in fact, has none. No, the “class” that is important to W is social class. He once again chose his country club pals over you and compounded it by issuing a disgusting blood libel against you. That’s his “thank you” for the thankless job of defending his worthless rear-end we did for all those years back when he was too gentlemanly to do it himself.

His disgusting speech even drew the ire of the even-tempered and thoughtful Byron York, who called it “dreadful.” What I would call it would not pass FCC muster.

This backstabbing creep dared say:

“And we have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders, but from violence that gathers within. There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But in their disdain for pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit. And it is our continuing duty to confront them.”

Now, I am not one for the dog whistle theory that everything anyone says is a secret message to one’s own supporters, but this is not a dog whistle because his scuzzy slander of Trump supporters is no secret. Libs got it immediately; the blue checks had a Twitter festival of toobining about how the architect of so much defeat and misery is now fully parroting the MSNBCNN narrative preferred by his new pals the Clintons and the Obamas. “Those Trump people are just like the Taliban – there, can I get back inside the club?” more

  1. The Bush betrayal of the Conservative base is a genetic characteristic passed down from one generation to the next.
Little George couldn’t fight the genetic urge. Read my lips.

  2. Oldest trick in the book (except when Michael Obama turns tricks in a bath house with Barry) to deflect the blame for his abysmal and totally failed policy in the middle east to innocent others! A smart tactic from a totally clueless retarded murderous idiot!

  3. Lately, I’ve been wondering if a Gore Presidency might have been better. We’d probably still get some form of the Patriot Act after 9/11 which was going to happen anyway, but we probably wouldn’t have gone to war and nation-building in Ghanistan and Iraq. Iran would have been fighting with Saddam, to the detriment of both nations. Republicans might have held onto power in Congress a little longer, instead of fading in 2006 due to Bush and war fatigue. Gore might have been a one term President because he’s Gore, although McCain probably would have found a way to lose in 2004. But even if Gore had two terms, it would have messed with Obama’s timing if he tried to run after 16 years of Democrat Presidents.

Hell, we might have gotten President Trump in 2008 and had him for two terms instead of Barky. Sure, Hillary would never have been a failed, corrupt SOS, but she’d have found a way to sell her Senate power into a scandal which made her unelectable, and she’d have been primaried by Barky in 2016 anyway.

So we’d probably just now be dealiing with Barky and Obamacare, but we’d be in better shape militarily and a lot of Americans would still be alive. Covid would still be in play, because that’s a Globalist project. But F—king Biden wouldn’t be our President, much less Obama’s Vice President. And right now, that’s what I really wish for.

I know, I know…one weak man or another makes no difference if our decline is inevitable for other reasons. But man, did W turn out to be a real piece of shit.

  4. I refuse to play the 20/20 hindsight game. We picked what we saw as the lesser of two evils.

Al Gore is, was and will always be a piece of shit.

Yeah, in retrospect, Bush sucked too.

But revisionist history is never healthy.

  5. Yeah, Bush fooled me good, and so did Romney. Trump was a refreshing surprise — at least, up until those God-awful pardons (both those he granted, and those he should have but didn’t). You do the best you can with what you got at the time.

  6. Thank god there’s not another bush out there who will ever be president after the last 2 bush disasters…
Fu@k mother clucker jeb before he fucks us.

  7. PHenry, alternate history is not the same thing as revisionist history. Please pardon my imagination and remember that 2000 could have easily gone either way. Again, one weak man or another makes no difference if our decline is inevitable for other reasons.

  8. @ThirdTwin.

I don’t disagree. I really don’t know. Maybe it would have been better if we had president Gore and surrendered on 9/12/2001.

We won two wars until democrats stole back power and then surrendered.

  9. I really like Schlickter’s no-pulled-punches writing style.

After 9/11, I drove thru Crawford TX (in about 10 seconds) and was interested in finding the Bush ranch. All the town knew him personally, he was treated like the country boy down the road, and I liked that.

Then, I got smarter. What a flimflam.

I had bought into “he’s just like us, boots and all” bullshit.

Nope. Elitist like all the others worth hating.

I’ll NEVER buy into such crap again.

    Complete con job.

    Fuck the Bushes.

  10. Lets not forget.
Both parties are a closed system.
You have to be in one or the other to run for office. And you have to play by their rules.
This is what hamstrung President Trump.
That is why he got stuck with his first set of losers.
And we know who they were, some are still there.

  11. “…..children of the same foul spirit….”
Gonna go contrarian here, and say that I agree with Shrub. Just this once. That is, if he’s talking about #BurnLootMurder and PantyFags.
Go ahead. Go back and re-read Shrub’s diatribe, but inserting “#BurnLootMurder” and “PantyFag” instead of…..whoever he was attempting to smear instead. It works. It might even put a smile on your face.

  12. Hated his father since around 1984, hate this deceitful clown more every day. He is certainly far too stupid to mute himself.

If I could do one thing it would be to tattoo “ENRON” on his chimp forehead so it will be there on his day of Judgement.

That W publicly claimed Jesus as his Savior (for political gain) is particularly blasphemous sarcasm. If that claim was anything short of a brazen lie, he would do well to atone before he dies. Recanting his BS 911 narrative MIGHT do that for his sinful carcass. But he’s clearly too conceited to consider sincere advice so I’m not expecting much.

  13. When Bush never defended himself or fought back against democrat attacks, he said that he would let history judge him. OK, count on it.

BTW, it was Molly Ivens who started the Shrub name.

  14. I tried to tell my friends this WOKE plutocrat was an Americans last NWO radical leftist! Just like his dad and brother. Some said I was a right wing reactionary. Clearly some got it as he only got 48% nationally, 41% in my town, in ’00.

I do not claim clairvoyance. But if you just looked at the , flimsy,”cradle to grave Nanny State” he built in TX it was “as plain as the nose on your face” GWB was a radical leftist!
I say flimsy because Rick demolished half of it his first year!

The last 24 years have shown I did understan the degenerate GWB. And understood him well!

  15. Post Script
Conservative Ronny got 80$ in ’84. Folk generally knew who he is, some were fooled, a very small few! I think most GWB voters were “Bush Republicans” like Kemp in GW or Whiny in OH

  16. I still believe that quote from Bush describes the Left rather than MAGA supporters. Yea, I’m a minority in this assessment but the Right does not hold disdain for life. Do you? The Right does not defile national symbols. Do you? I sure as hell dont

  17. @stop2think: that’s what I was thinking. I’d put what he said in the context of libs/dems/blm/antifa and the destruction they’ve caused, but W is still a pos. Now excuse me while I go burn his “decision points” book.
