Chris Cuomo accused of sexual harassment

  1. I realize that in our new bubble wrap progressive society true definitions of words are now malleable and can be bastardized to suit the victim, this does not sound like “sexual harassment” to me.

    From the EEOC’s own website;

    https://www.eeoc.gov/sexual-harassment

    “Although the law doesn’t prohibit simple teasing, offhand comments, or isolated incidents that are not very serious, harassment is illegal when it is so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment or when it results in an adverse employment decision (such as the victim being fired or demoted).”

    What a vile putrid society we live in now, where women feel empowered and encouraged to publicly shame someone over an incident that happened 16 years ago, where a sincere apology was offered, and where there is zero evidence of similar conduct.

    I don’t like to use the “C” word, but this woman just joined the club.

  2. I mostly agree, Rich Taylor, but this may be just the beginning of revelations pointing to a pattern of boorish or even criminal behavior by Fredo. And the whole TV news racket is filled with lecherous scum who backstab, grope and trample each other trying to reach the top of the pile, so I just stand back and wait for the dust to settle.

    What is interesting to me is how most of the private secto learned years ago how to deal with sexual harassment fairly, maturely and with perspective. It is the political, media and entertainment sectors which have arrested development where sexual harassment are concerned, and I see no sign that they will ever change.

    Alinsky’s Rule #4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

    These are the rules that progs use against everyone and it appears that the Cuomo’s are being forced out in just another of their internecine struggles for power that typify leftist movements.

    Just sit back and enjoy it when they are using their own vile tactics on each other. There is no call to decency that is going to end their vile practices, they are wholly without a shred of human decency among them.

    They pervert any efforts made in the interests of the betterment of society at large and use it as a weapon or any victim class. That is why it is my advise to never welcome them into any effort to improve the human condition. They are interested only in what is in it for them and how they can exploit the victims of injustice.

    If this revelation opens the flood gates for further allegations against this creep, more substantive and egregious examples of real sexual assault, then yes, I guess it is a good thing.

    But like the accusations of racism, when they are made on the flimsiest of evidence, on more boorish behavior then nefarious, it makes a mockery of the charge, and gives real abusers cover. This 16 year old apology was for the capital crime of briefly resting his hand on her butt. Yes, it was inappropriate and he admitted as such, but perspective is called for. I don’t see where the outrage is warranted, especially when contrition was offered.

  5. Man, there are going to be a lot of coaches & players in the NFL & MLB getting changed for harassment within the next few decades with all the ass patting going on.
