Northwell Health ‘exits’ 1,400 workers in NY who refused COVID vaccine

PIX11: NEW YORK — Northwell Health parted ways with 1,400 employees after they refused to comply with New York State’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers, a spokesperson said Monday.

The workforce for the largest health care network in New York City was 100% vaccinated, as of Monday. MORE

DENVER (KDVR) — A Colorado woman on a kidney transplant list was moved to inactive status by UCHealth for not receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. Her living donor is also unvaccinated and the hospital said both need to be vaccinated for the transplant process to continue.

  1. WHY in the name of GOD would anyone want to get the jab when their health is already seriously compromised??? That makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever! Screw these ‘holier than thou’ hospital decision-makers. Payback is a bitch and I plan to be around to watch!

  2. Just in time for winter!

    Supply chain shortages
    Food shortages
    Fuel shortages
    Runaway inflation
    Growing unemployment
    Post office and shipping cutbacks
Transport ships dead in the water
FBI surveillance of VAX protests and PTA meetings
China testing Taiwan’s defenses almost daily
Illegals flooding our borders in record numbers
…(you fill in more, I’m too disgusted)

    And now the bonus prize!

Critical hospital staff shortages and hospital shutdowns!!

    DING DING DING DING DING!

    We have a winner!

(Looks like I picked a bad year to have my Lycanthropy treated.)

  3. Indeed, Brad, pandemonium and hardship.

Examples of staff shortages coming up or already here:

    Hospitals & clinics
    Police departments
    Fire departments
    Paramedics
    Public schools
    Trucking companies
    Airlines
    Public utilities (power, gas, etc.)
    Public port cargo handlers
City, county and state employees (DOT’s? Sanitation? Etc.)
    (no doubt more)

It’s getting harder and harder to joke about anything, although I’m still trying to find a slow-motion SHTF video.

  4. Good Luck!

Go hire a Millennial who has been sitting on the bench for the Last 2 years waiting for the coach to tap him/her/ze/zir/zem on the shoulder to step up to the plate.

  5. Pretty soon we will be getting our medical treatment via offshore phone banks located in India or the Puerto Rico. I can hear the conversation now:
Some guy named Tom with a strong India or ‘Rican accent: “so you are telling me that you are pissing blood, is that right sir?”
ME: YES DAM IT, THAT’S WHAT I JUST SAID.
Tom: “Have you called your doctor?”
ME: YES, AND WHEN I DO I GET ROUTED TO YOU!!”
Tom: So you are telling me that you get routed to me when you call your doctor.”
    ME: AAAAAHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!!!…

  6. Something else I find interesting, and also manufactured. “The Supply Chain Crisis” We don’t have a Supply Chain Crisis, we have a transportation crisis. Supply Chain is a vendor base. They’re using the Supply Chain term to create panic.

  7. ^ Yeah, I found and posted that link on another thread, SNS. But thanks!

I want a really slow, magnificent one with a big fan and a Bovine-size pie slowly spraying through the air onto a bunch of jackwagons (which I will fantasize to be my least favorite jerks politicians).

And Willy, if you want name calling, you need to use names to begin with, you big Teddybear Bastard! 🙂 (Anyone can play the silly game. Let’s not and say we did.)

  8. There’s a graphic meme out there about healThcare workers, to the effect, “Last year we were unvaccinated, risk-taking heroes during the pandemic. This year we’re being fired for refusing the vaccine for it.” Wish I could find it again.

TheN there are numerous Rod Serling, Twilight Zone memes:

    “IMAGINE, IF YOU WILL…
    (Picture of Serling)
A PANDEMIC SO SEVERE THAT WE
CAN AFFORD TO FIRE HEALTHCARE WORKERS”

iOTWREPORT should have a Rod Serling meme contest…
