“Straight Up Propaganda”: Audience reviews Fauci documentary

Legal Insurrection: There is a reason why I look at audience reviews more than critic reviews for movies and TV shows.

I am totally shocked that movie critics loved and gushed over the Fauci documentary on Disney+. A few gave the movie a negative review because it did a “disservice” to him.

“A documentary that merits a place in classrooms as well as theaters, as a preventative against the virus of cynicism,” drooled Variety’s Chris Willman.

“Fauci is a refreshing figure and a standard-bearer for the truth,” cried The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw.

“An admiring film that still ends up doing him a disservice. Fauci is smarter than Fauci,” cried The Financial Times’ Danny Leigh.

Let’s look at the audience reviews at IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes. read more

  1. Well, duhhh. What did you expect? We live in a world with two distinct parallel universes. Unfortunately our universe does not currently hold the power – and may never, if we don’t restore credibility to the voting rules and processes.

  2. Rotten Tomatoes now does allow regular people to review it – and they have given it a 2% out of 100%.
Conversely, the new Chappelle special received a 33% from the ‘professional reviewers’ and a 97% from regular people.
The elite are a bunch of idiots. But they (mostly) have control of the media.

  4. He looks like a 90 year old 11 year old. I’m thinking he could use some long cycles of therapy. Sick from childhood and compensating all the way through… up to mass murder…

  5. I stopped paying attention to critics after reading them gushing about the Oscar winner “As Good As it Gets”(1997)…..and then watching it. I won’t say that it sucks, but it definitely wasn’t worthy of Best Picture Oscar. I stopped watching near the beginning, that boring.

  6. Imagine waking up in the morning and actually believing that you have the right to tell people whether they can visit their relatives on Thanksgiving or not after we’ve seen an entire weekend of packed football stadiums week after week? Fauci is a goddamn, idiotic, twatbag, narcissistic shitbag of the first order. Fuck him and the mule he rode in on.
