LET’S GO BRANDON!: The Trains Aren’t Going To Run On Time

Republican Daily-

We saw a huge problem with Southwest Airlines this weekend, with over 800 flights canceled on Saturday and a thousand more on Sunday. As we reported, the initial claims as to the problem were utter nonsense — “bad weather” — while other carriers weren’t having that significant an issue. Southwest canceled 28% of its schedule, according to ABC. The sheer scale of the cancellations showed there were obviously internal issues.

Henry H. Harteveldt, president and travel industry analyst at The Atmosphere Research Group, based in San Francisco, said part of the issue was how Southwest scheduled things: that they were scheduling too many flights and because they had a point to point route network, so that when there are delays it tends to effect everywhere else. But he also pointed to the likelihood of what was being reported: that there was a “massive sickout” objecting to COVID vaccine mandates.

The Southwest Pilots Association formally denied that they were involved in such an action, saying they were not participating in any official or unofficial action. But, as Hateveldt noted, if they were, it could be considered an illegal job action. So they would not likely acknowledge it if it were happening. more

  1. Almost every night, Amtrack stops in our town and drops off a homeless loony. They hang around going through dumpsters and harassing people for money. Cops won’t touch them.

  2. “Truly, everything Joe Biden touches just blows up.”

    As intended.

He wants you to stay home and starve until the “vaccine” kills you, so he can bring in the replacement population that doesn’t know anything about freedom.

    That was always the plan.

    And it’s right on schedule…

  3. Forget the commuter runs. A little bird told me there’s a major problem coming with the freight part of things as the Union Pacific is pushing forward with the jab. It will make the stacking of shipping look like successful movement. But who is John Galt?

At least my daughter’s medical exemption was honored by her work. Many nurses quitting and many of the supervisory staff that are refusing the jab. That tell us anything?

  4. Speaking of trains, any one else seeing the Parallel of Atlas Shrugged in today’s society? Only starting folks, incompetence everywhere, imagine 10 years…Ayn Rand the prophet indeed.

  5. The stress of having to even deal with the overreach is pervasive and can cause things like this to arise organically. Extreme stress over something that can result in you losing your employment is not funny and it DOES manifest in maladies of many types.
