Because Pfizer has been granted legal immunity for their shot all along so far, so why not ask for it now?
Also, I have the impression that an “emergency use authorization” carries legal immunity as a standard feature. Am I wrong about that?
It seems unlikely that a “full authorization” has been issued without hype audible from Uranus.
I asked my doctor about the “Legal Immunity” question and he changed the subject.

Uncle Al, that would be the Comirnaty, and it was indeed issued without fanfare. But the EUA jab is also still in effect, and that’s all they’ll ever use, because of the magic lawsuit immunity it will confer forever. So now they can trumpet “FULL FDA APPROVAL” of Comirnaty, while never issuing a single dose of it. And it’s identical to the EUA crap.. Neat trick, eh?
@Thirdtwin — Yes, I know about C’mHereNasty; I read the Aug. 23 “approval” letter with high interest. But there WAS a lot of fanfare two months ago with all the idiots and weasels claiming that the Pfizer shot being offered (pushed) was now fully authorized when the letter made it crystal clear that it was NOT. I still hear from all ’round that the shot is (awed gasps) Fully Authorized. I’m getting tired of trying to correct people who simply refuse to believe me even to the point refusing to look it up for themselves.
BTW, the authorized stuff is NOT identical to the emergency stuff. Ingredient list is different, as are the proportions of (this) to (that) in the formulation. The Aug. 23 letter currently online at the FDA site
