Los Angeles Pushes Back Deadline For City Workers To Get Vax’d

Un-vaccinated city employees will have $130 per week deducted from paycheck to cover COVID-19 testing.

Daily Wire: Elected leaders in Los Angeles have pushed back the deadline given for city workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or face possible termination.

LAist reported, “A plan passed by the Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday makes it time consuming and expensive for city workers to refuse the coronavirus shots, but pushes the mandate deadline to Dec. 18, giving holdouts more time to decide.”

According to the outlet, “During the additional weeks, unvaccinated city workers will have $65 deducted from their salary twice a week to cover the cost of testing for the coronavirus on their own time.” more here

  1. I’m sure all of the union government employees will be thrilled to have their money contributed to elected officials that push the vax mandate. I know that those contributions depend on what corrupt union leaders want, but if large numbers of union employees get fired then the gravy train for the union leaders goes off the rails. The leadership might just have to back the employees just for self preservation.

  2. The Union Members Outside Looked From Tyrannical Democrat to Union Boss, And From Union Boss To Tyrannical Democrat , And From Tyrannical Democrat to Union Boss Again; But Already It Was Impossible To Say Which Was Which

Do these people not have contracts? Do those contracts say “The City can make me do whatever the fuck they want at any time, and take money out of my paycheck at any time”?

Too bad they paid into Democrat unions that only support Democrats.

Otherwise, they’d have someone who, you know, actually did their JOB AND REPRESENTED THEM…

  3. “City employees can still apply for a religious or medical exemption but will still be required to pay for testing twice a week. If an exemption is granted, they will be reimbursed by the city.”

I’d be interested in knowing which religions will be granted the exemption.

  4. Would having a handicap license plate count as a medical exemption? Will muslims start self exploding if they aren’t granted religious exemptions? Oh, that’s right. They already do.
