   ~40 years ago I was at a New Years after hours party in a 1,000 +- square foot house full of drunk twenty year olds. The hostess was sitting with her cigarette in the tree that had been up since Thanksgiving and was the color of a golden retriever. I believe I told her at least a half dozen times to get her Goddamn cigarette away from that tree before she lit the house on fire.

   Yep, burned her shit to the foundation. It went up so fast I still don’t understand how everyone got out. Everyone escaped more or less unscathed. Fortunately one of the attendees lived a block down the street and we were able to move the party and take up where we left off before all of the excitement.
