Larson: One-man crime spree uncovers Portland’s failure

Oregon Catalyst:
If you want a hint about what is so very wrong with law enforcement in Portland, check Mayor Feckless Ted’s comments about a violent and deadly incident on Monday.

A man, who’s still not identified, committed an armed home invasion robbery

He committed multiple armed carjackings

He drove the wrong direction on Interstate 5

He shot a woman in a car on the freeway.

The woman in the car, by the way, will survive.

Any of the incidents I just mentioned could have left many people wounded or dead.

And what does Police Commissioner Ted Wheeler say:

  1. It’s just a very sad state of affairs in the US and in the entire world. The mental case in NYC that set the Fox Christmas tree on fire was let go on a misdemeaner charge and is back out on the street.

  2. “ The Portland Police Bureau said Wednesday that police shot and killed 30-year-old Brandon Keck on Monday. Keck is associated with Bellingham and Vancouver addresses.”

Add in domestic violence convictions and it sounds like likely has ANTIFA connections? It certainly would not surprise me

  4. Normally you’d have to feel some sympathy for the sane people still living in Portland but after allowing the city to burn, a majority REELECTED this asshole.

So my conclusion is a lot of sane folks have abandoned ship.

Of course he was running against a even crazier woman(I think) who promised to slash the police budget, push to eliminate most bail requirements, cram low income housing into single family neighborhoods and put molatov cocktail dispensers on every corner in downtown Portland.

(I made the last one up but it’s believable)
