New York AG Letitia James Drops Out of Governors Race

Tatum Report-

Attorney General Letitia James recently announced her withdrawal from New York state’s governor’s race, saying she will instead seek re-election to a second term as the state’s top law-enforcement officer. James said in a statement, “I have come to the conclusion that I must continue my work as attorney general. There are a number of important investigations and cases that are underway, and I intend to finish the job. I am running for re-election to complete the work New Yorkers elected me to do.”

James’ plan to run for governor against Cuomo’s successor, Kathy Hochul, for the Democratic primary next year lasted just over a month. After launching her candidacy for Albany’s Executive Mansion, James hardly campaigned, and early Democratic primary polls found her consistently behind Hochul by large margins.

According to a recent Siena College poll, more than a third of Democrats (36%) indicated they would vote for Hochul against only 18%, who said they would vote for James. more

  2. Oh, I could see her trouble brewing a mile away. She is your typical. I went to school with many of these females that the Chip on their shoulder was so had it’s own name.

Thank goodness she decided (or someone helped her) to drop out of the race.

    Say your prayers everyday!!

    God Bless us all!
