  1. The phrase ‘Won’t somebody think of the children!!!’ was spoken by Mrs. Lovejoy in a particular Simpsons episode – twice. The first time, early in the episode, she said it to drive the emotional momentum towards passing a certain town law. When she spoke it the second time the townspeople had realized how bad the law was and wanted to repeal it. So she said the same words for the exact opposite reason. And that was the point being made (this was, of course, back when The Simpsons was decent). Same with any political posturing – it is simply an emotional foil, where a valid argument would have supporting data.

  2. It seems this is a good time to trot out one of my/our favorite quotations.

  3. The statement “This is for the greater good” is so inimical to the traditional American experience and outlook, at least before 1960 or so. It has its source, I think, in deep dark eastern Europe monarchies and tyrannies of one sort or another. Places where people had little personal freedom and had no awareness of the free republic that was being built on the other side of the ocean that provided a better model for people to thrive without class distinctions and restrictions.

Unfortunately, too many Americans have given support to “This is for the greater good”, thereby turning their backs on freedom and God.

  4. One can rail against all this woke bullshit, commyfag slogans, and repetitive virtue signaling narratives, but until we gain back control of our educational systems from the communist infiltrators that Joe Mccarthy so presciently warned us about, and Nikita Khrushchev bragged about.

  5. It’s pure socialism which is communism which is and always has been a lie. There’s nothing common in it. If there were all would live in the same conditions of same value. Instead there is always the elite ruling class and the poor working class. And communism is not and cannot be woke because it’s not equal and good for only certain people. It’s rich vs poor, best educated vs less educated, those who are exceptional vs those who are common. The globalist are trying to destroy capitalism in America because it proves there’s a better alternative to socialism and global laws only work in a socialist world.
