U.S. Govt Advisors Shred Documents Detailing Fauci Agency’s Obama-Era Work With The Wuhan Lab

National Pulse: The National Institutes of Health has repeatedly failed to comply with congressional requests for documents related to its involvement with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, instead forcing agency personnel to “shred notes and other documents” referencing the Chinese Communist Party-run lab and its work with the U.S. government during the Obama administration.

Members of the Republican House Committee on Oversight and Reform wrote a letter to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Director Xavier Becerra urging the release of the documents, which could prove highly relevant to the origins of COVID-19.

“Rather than be transparent with Committee Republicans, HHS and NIH have chosen to hide, obfuscate, and shield the truth,” argues the letter. read more

  1. If a suspect destroys documents under subpoena or search warrant, that is itself a crime (“Crime A”). If the documents were demanded because investigators had reasonable suspicion that they contained evidence of “Crime B” and those responsible for shredding the docs are convicted of Crime A, then they should also be put on trial for Crime B and the destroyed documents should be legally assumed to contain evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that those on trial are guilty.

That would certainly cut down on shredding volume.

  2. Yet the demonrats breathlessly claim that PDJT flushed papers down the toilet.
I actually hope he did do that. And I hope he rubs their face in the pictures of those papers going down the drain.

Didn’t they bury Sandy Berger with classified documents crammed up his anus?

  3. And just who is going to uphold the rule of law? The republicans have no power to demand anything. The republicans have no power to prosecute. Even if a court sided with the republicans who is going to enforce the court’s ruling.

    > Heck with letting rot, hang em high on the front steps of The Capital as an example.

“An example” to whom? If you extirpate those that attack you, no example is required. If you allow those that attack you to survive, the attacks will continue. It’s who they are.
