On Thursday, Gov. Kim Reynolds (R-IA) signed a new bill into law that prevents biological males who identify as transgender and wish to play on girls and women’s athletic teams from doing so. The bill passed the Iowa Senate on Wednesday with a vote of 32 to 17.
The law requires athletics programs to be men’s, women’s, or co-ed, and to tailor participation accordingly, based on the sex designated on a person’s birth certificate. This applies at all educational organizations, from elementary school through college. more
Logical decision. Gender dysphoria is a mental health issue. If “fairness” is the claim, then create a new division inside competitive sports where transgenders can compete with each other. If nothing else, it might stop the posers.
^^^^ Almost typed that in, but then said eff it. They have six-man football teams, so have teams made up of a couple of mentally screwed freaks and let them go at it with other teams.
Common sense has been restored in Iowa. What’s next? Federal intervention in the form of senseless litigation brought by the Department of Transgender Civil Rights. Dementia Joe said he had their backs during his State of Dementia Address, and he always keeps his ……. you….… you know…..the thing……
I’m sure “admiral” what’s his….er….her face is displeased. It’s about time that Americans start utilizing cognitive thinking.
