Most states are having to dump expired shots or do what Texas is doing and push them onto illegals. Since when did the government buy vaccines for everyone anyway?!
The Fed can print a trillion $ in a month, just turn on the printing presses. US Gov’t shouldn’t waste money, obviously, but there is no shortage for the thing you like and no reason to cry fiscal responsibility unless you do it 100% of the time.

We cannot spend money on the pandemic, but we can spend more than $500B for environmental issues, “$470 million to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity rates”, $14.8B “to support the Social Security Administration’s efforts to improve service delivery at field offices”, $9.1 billion in mandatory funding to promote equity in health funding for American Indians and Alaskan natives.
I could go on, but why bother? The Dems in the House will put all of these in spending bills. Enough Repubs in the House and Senate will want to look good for the media, that these and other boondoggles will be passed.

LCD, do you honestly believe that Disney could make Davy Crockett now and not turn him into some kind of pro-American right wing nut job. And don’t even get PETA started on Davy killing a bar when he was only 3. FJB and Disney as well! All of us old farts (who remember the real Davy Crockett and the Alamo) need to wear racoon skin hats like we did when we were kids to really piss off the left.
I bought a paperback copy of Davy Crockett, His own story by David Crockett published by Applewood Books of Bedford, Massachusetts in 1993 when my kids were little and I still have it. It’s right in front of me now and when my little 7 months old grandson Holden gets to be older I will read it to him or give it to him as a present to remember me by and learn all about real American heroes like Davy Crockett. The blurb on the back of the book reads, “Originally published in 1834 this autobiography was actually written by Davy Crockett himself. And so, the flavor of the times and place come through. It’s more like a tall tale (remember those) of the life of the frontiersman than it is a true autobiography, but that just adds to the book’s fun. When it first came out, this book went a long way toward establishing Davy Crockett as a larger-than-life American hero.”
