Sarah Palin Announces Run For U.S. House Seat In Alaska

Valiant News: Former Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced via social media on Friday that she is running for U.S. Congress.

“Today I’m announcing my candidacy for the U.S. House seat representing Alaska,” Palin said in a statement. “Public service is a calling, and I would be honored to represent the men and women of Alaska in Congress, just as Rep. Young did for 49 years. I realize that I have very big shoes to fill, and I plan to honor Rep. Young’s legacy by offering myself up in the name of service to the state he loved and fought for, because I share that passion for Alaska and the United States of America.”

“I first entered politics 30 years ago, when I was elected to city council in Wasilla,” Palin said. “I still live in Wasilla; my family is here; my son goes to school here. My heart will always be in Alaska, even when I’m representing this great state in Washington, D.C.” read more

  1. I’M TIRED OF THE SHIT THIS LADY HAS TAKEN, AND I THINK SHE’S ON THE SAME WARPATH THAT WE’RE ON HERE AT IOTW..

  2. I didn’t leave Alaska. Alaska left me. I’m going to take a lot of critisism for this but here goes: Sarah had my full support UNTIL she cut and ran (resigned her governership) because folks were giving her the Trump treatment. My gut tells me she has become a bit of a publicity hound for all the wrong reasons.

  3. Hopefully she’s learned her lesson about never backing down. Libs are animals. If you show any sign of weakness, they’ll come after you harder. But if you come back at them, they’ll run like dogs. She needs to remember that nobody ever won a war by being nice to the enemy.

  4. @General Malaise ~ “Compared to most Republicans in the House, she’s an intellectual.”

hell, compared to most Repugnicans in the House, I’m an itellectual.

  5. GWB was taxing Americans over $500,000,000 a year to support Taliban by not opening ANWR. Did McCain plan to top funding Taliban? Summary John said “She is Just VP and I care not how many Americans die WE WILL NOT OPEN ANWR!”! So IO voted conservative!

If FDR was conservative then GWB and Johnny were also!

dI will vote Palin president if I ever get the chance!
