Elon Musk’s potential takeover of Twitter has Donald Trump supporters once again salivating over the potential return of the former president — but Trump insists he has no interest in resuming tweeting.
Trump told Americano Media on Wednesday: “I probably wouldn’t have any interest [in returning to Twitter if Musk bought the company].”
“Twitter’s become very boring. They’ve gotten rid of a lot of good voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative voices.”
Trump added: “It used to be a war on Twitter, but it was a very interesting war…Mentally, we had some pretty good fights. We would go after the progressives, who I call the un-progressives.”
“We’d be fighting back and forth and it was great stuff,” Trump said, adding that “friends of mine” have recently griped that “it’s not the same.”
Might be a ploy to keep the price of Twitter down. If he would say he can’t wait to get on again it would help drive up the price.
If Elon Musk makes good on his word, all those banned accounts should return. Then you will start seeing “some pretty good fights” again. We will see the fun return.

@Jason: I agree, Trump will go back onto Twitter. I think it would be a positive statement to conservatives. It will allow people to be more open in their opinion. The anti-fact checkers will have to find another job.
I’ve made the effort to post on Gab, Parler and Gettr. I got the invite to join Truth social and haven’t joined and probably won’t. I’ve tried to use all of the above but after a few weeks I lose interest and get bored. My bad, that’s just how it is. For that reason, I think Trump will go back to Twitter if Elon succeeds. Love it or hate it-it’s the original town square.
