Washington state Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler, 78, was first accused of racism and verbally mistreating employees by members of his team last month when Northwest News Network reported a top staff had accused him of bullying him and antagonizing staff and stating that he was ‘not fit to lead.’
Several former and prospective staffers have come forward following legislative director Jon Noski’s complaint, adding to the slew of allegations from incidents between 2017 and 2022 against Kreidler who is the state’s oldest and longest-serving current statewide elected leader.
One staffer said that in a session preparing Kreidler for interview expected to include questions about policy issues for transgender people, he asked: ‘So what are we talking about, men with t*ts?’ more
